Just curious as to what area schools do for student passes to home games. Trying to get some numbers together before going to school board about changing its policies. Couple of things I would like feed back on what does your area school charge if anything? Does it get them into all sporting events? The district my kids go to charge $100 for all sports passes. Which if you do the math and a kid attends most the home events they might break even. Back when I went to school no admissions were charged for students they just had to show an i.d. at the gate. Same with the small university I attended. My personal opinion is that it would be better to have more students there rooting on the teams than a school making more money off their own kids. Thanks in advance for any input...😎😎

Our HS charges $20.00 for a fall sports pass, gets a student into all football/volleyball/soccer contests. They charge $30.00 for a winter sports pass, gets a student into all boys basketball/girls basketball/wrestling contests. At times our Athetlic Boosters would cover tickets costs for students, if it was a really big game and we wanted to encourage student attendance. Sometimes it would help, sometimes it wouldn't. And unfortunately, most athletic departments need that ticket revenue to help offset costs.
