Way to get it done Whippets. Could this have been the last Shelby-Willard football game for a while? MOAC is going to cause some changes in the preseason scheduling right?

They'll play at least one more year. Shelby is playing the same schedule next year.

I thought Shelby would keep Bellevue on the non-conference schedule but after talking with people from BOTH schools, the Shelby/Willard series will continue unless Willard decides to drop Shelby. Apparently Willard likes the gate and wants the series to continue. For now...

Willard will eventually have to go totally independent, schedule the worst teams in northern Ohio, and still may only crack. 500 every season. Plymouth, might win a game this year. Willard might win one more, possibly 2. So is that our goal here with this league change? Beat teams that can only muster up a win or 2 themselves?

Shelby vs Bellevue appears to be over (at least in the short-term) after the 2018 season. Week three was the only option and Shelby prefers Willard in that slot, if Willard agrees but Bellevue already has Madison there so either way it's not going to work out.

Willard would be fine in the River Division as hoped. That SEC is dead

Willard's winnable games this year: Plymouth (W) Margaretta (doubtful) St. Joe's (toss up) Lakota (should be easy) SMCC (should be easy) Would be incredible to get to 5 wins Possible 4 Almost a lock to win 3 Huron & Edison will turn the Flashes into mulch Calvert will win fairly easy IMO
