Who calls the plays for Harding? the fans? I went tonight and couldn't understand 90% of the play calls someone should grow a set and FIRE whoever it is calling the shots on offense and I've heard so much about the Harding D and they got torched the entire game Agreed.... The coaching is whats going to hurt Harding the offense coordinator is is cj wrestler and I agree the play calling was TERRIBLE... And the defense played zone way too much... Like u said I wasn't impressed at all after all we've heard.... Newark wasn't that good and I think the fans could have called a better game lol how long do they let their coordinators sabatoge games there at Harding heck I know of at least 2 games last year this guy blew and looking the same this year the head coach has to make the call and fire this guy I mean come on Harding beats MV then MV blows Newark out wouldn't you think they should of handled anyway looks like a long season for MH and after seeing Clear Fork beat Alder all hopes are likely gone for MH winning MOAC unfortunately

It's too bad that instead of Harding playing Newark and Mansfield Sr playing Toledo St Johns that they aren't recapturing the glory days of the Buckeye Conference and OHC to play each other in week 3 before conference games. Some in Marion might still have a bad taste in their mouths over Harding being left out when the OHC became the OCC

I could careless about what conference they are in its the coaching staff that makes want to scream you have a head coach who is not in the game anymore yes he was a great coordinator and position coach but I'm pretty sure has yet to have a winning record like I said he has position coaches who just graduated who should of been made to work their way up the ranks and ESPECIALLY the offensive Coordinator who just randomly calls plays I see no game plan as Ive thought about it it's an athletic director who is incompetent he or she idk who it is has to hear the frustration from the fans when you see kids at RV Pleasant and from what ive heard the star RB at Northmor were all once city kids someone is running these kids off

One makes a post to impart their thoughts. Without punctuation it's not worth our time to make the effort to decifer. Not exactly earth shattering information in them

If you can read you can understand like I said before I'm not writing essays this is sports talk .....................freaking punctuation nazi Asking for the bare minimum in elementary composition does not a "freaking punctuation nazi" make. What you write goes largely unread because no one wants to break out their O2-to-English dictionary to decipher what you have to say. It's just easier to ignore it all and avoid the inevitable headache that may end up not being worth it anyway.

I'm sorry but I keep hearing about the stellar school district that Ontario has become. How does something like O2 slip through the cracks in their English department?

His posts sure makes it sound like he's from Marion. Guess being a Galion grad makes it problematic to discern that. Or could just be the hate.

He claims to have played for Hawkins last year. That would rule out Marion.

He claims to have played for Hawkins last year. That would rule out Marion. 1 of 3 things...laziness, Galion education, or hate. Which is it? OR could be a 4th....the self serving desire to bring Hawkin's into every conversation.

I played in Columbus in 90s.and you say Noone reads what I say well your obviously following what I say.lastly I follow high school football as a whole not biased toward any I attend different schools,I've just been to more Harding games lately and with how hortible they look I need to find another team in the area to go watch.RV and Pleasant are not as impressive as past and Ridgedale barely has a team, I'd like to see them consolidate with Elgin or something actually they have been the most impressive team in Marion County hands down

O2 sounds a little more ignorant every post. And the typing hahaha, but that last statement means you've never watched football in Marion. Pleasant river valley and Harding will all blow out Elgin. Let's not play stupid here. Everyone knew Elgin would do well with this schedule. It's like saying Harding would go win 7 games on a independent team when they'd prob go 3-7 lol.

First off please lay off the bottle before you start typing. Also, the Harding Coach does not have any Varsity Coach that just graduated. They have a couple freshman coaches that are young and only 1 just graduated. I’m not sure anybody is knocking down the doors to coach at Marion Harding. Those coaches put in hours Monday to Sunday. When I’m at the field with my son on Sundays all the coaches are putting in work. You sir are very delusional. It’s obvious that you have never played or Coached at the High School level or you did and were not very good and blame the coaches for your “lack” of ability. As for running kids off, name one? Douglas-kicked off the team, any county kid, check your sources. The majority started school where they are at now. Never stepped in MCS. As for the Northmor kid, best decision he ever made was to move. Got in trouble running the streets and was only at MCS in the 8th grade when he moved in from Columbus. Grow up and please go watch Elgin!

I know for a fact there is at least 2-3 playing for RV that were once at HHS,there's a Freshman at Elgin can't remember name but my nephew goes there and he was saying about a kid that played for city school then transfered, the northmor kid,Pleasant kid (ankle bracelet) they also have a lineman who transfered the year after his brother who was a reciever graduated got out of there and almost positive a QB for Wynford also left so there has been quite a few get outta dodge

And that's not adding the numbers of kids who refuse to play because of these coaches,it's no secret the head coach is only there to make sure his retirement package is set , and the play calling from the Offensive Coordinator they could of had the golf coach call better plays they need a change in culture there is all I'm saying to keep the kids there is no reason Harding and say a Galion should have same roster size in numbers

Some are clueless on here, northmor kid wouldn't be on Harding team rn if he was in Marion because he can't stay outta trouble. Douglas is at pleasant because he is a cancer to any locker room. Blevins went to rv after his freshman year because Douglas got starting rb, and he was just a cry baby about it lol. There's not city kids going everywhere else. If I'm right Harding has multiple transfer ins from pleasant and rv now enrolled. And I can't talk Elgin football because it's a joke lol. I don't get the hate on coach westler as much either. He is a qb genius. He's made bad decisions. But don't they all. He was d2 heisman runner up in college. He knows a little about football if you ask me. None of you would do a better job that's for sure. If you're a Harding fan and you wanna complain all day I say go root for ridgedale or someone LMAO.

4, are you a Harding coach? Cheerleading advisor? Ticket taker? Your schtick is getting old. Pound your chest for Harding while taking shots at not only DIV & DV county schools, but also the students who transfer from Harding. Sad...

Lmao none of the above, just a fan. If you don't like what I post just block me haha. That's why they made that tool on here. I have no relation no longer in Harding for a couple more years, I just like to donate what I can to help the program and watch football. This site is for talk so that's what I'm gonna do 👍🏼

Thing is kids transfer for a lot of reasons. The Douglas kid (ankle bracelet) has not had an issues yet and has yet to be a "cancer". Maybe the realization that expectations are different at Pleasant than Harding contributed to his change in behavior, or maybe he is just playing everyone. Who knows time will tell. I will say this the kids I have talked to have said that he is nothing like you described. The 2 that transferred from Pleasant had similar raps, and the change in location seems to have helped them. Sometime kids just need a change I am glad there is a system that allows them to do that.

If you can find a kid walking the halls at Marion Harding the just refuse to play because of coaches I would love to know the names....Thats funny just heard kids talking about douglas at Pleasant already trying to beat up a teammate at school. The kids name was Wolfe. just a total Cancer.. just give it time he will explode. Even Worse, he cant play until week 7 now.

Elgin, that kid lives in the Elgin district, he got expelled from school at Grant, he had to move. Northmor kid was trouble had to move. Douglas kicked off the team, The lineman has other issues would never see the field at HHS. No one went to Wynford. All got out of Dodge for a reason, outside of the Blevins kid and lineman, they all would be in Jail. So everything is not related to the school or Football program. Reality check!
