What "ends justify the means" has occurred at Ontario? More untruths. How did the probation hurt Galion? As is typical of the OHSAA, fearing lawsuits, only slaps on the wrists are handed out. Actually, on appeal, the punishment was reduced by 50%, a RARITY by the OHSAA. Stop being such a hater, it really makes you look bad. Try to control yourself. Continually bringing Hawkins into ever thread about Ontario football and NOTHING about coaching in any of them, only proves you're a hater. On appeal his suspension was reduced by 50% not our probation. Also, why don't we try to expand our vocabulary a bit. I don't HATE Hawkins. Hatred and disappointment are two very different things. AGAIN....how did the probation hurt Galion??? Losing a head coach for games, even if it's one you NOW hate, is a more severe punishment. BTW, what was the reason given by the OHSAA for Galion's head coach's suspension? Be care, I have a distinct memory of this. |

Now I'm a communist, this keeps getting better and better. So essentially you're admitting to contributing to the aforementioned thread then. Week after week? Heck Willard, he was coach at Ontario last season and I can't recall making a post about the man. What do you call someone who wants to deny someone's freedom of speech? I "contribute" to thousands of threads. Ontario wasn't in the MOAC last year. You tell us, why all of sudden the spewing of hatred about Ontario's head coach. Why no spewing of hatred on here when he was head coach at Galion?? It IS a conundrum. |

I've learned to be very careful in the use of the word "lie", except in extreme cases. A lie is done deliberately. Often to harm or besmirch. An untruth can come from a lack of caring or research. This is getting close to being more than untruthful, when you continue to say I called you a "liar". When you know I never did. |

OK, if you seriously want to do this buckle up here we go. Oh Willard, Willard, Willard you are one lucky man. How fortunate you are that we don't have the old NOSF archives. I'm thinking of one thread in particular when Hawkins was accused of attempting to recruit kids from Ontario, Col Crawford, Crestline, Mansfield, etc. You get the picture. Mind you that these were just accusations and never proven. You had no problem throwing your two cents in. Where was your holier than thou attitude then? There are those that might suggest that would make you look like kind of a hypocrite. Now I realize that since there are no records anymore you are going to try and save face by spending 5 paragraphs calling me a liar. But between you and me we both know that you posted on there and it wasn't in Hawkins' defense. But wait, you want to play the fact game. We can do that as well. At Hawkins' previous two jobs he was found to be in violation of various OHSAA rules, fact. Many would consider this to be a character issue, fact. Many would consider the behavioral issues that have been adequately discussed on another thread a serious character issue, fact. All of these character issues were on full display during his tenure in Galion, fact. The powers that be at Ontario were well aware of all of this but chose to look the other way and hire him anyway, fact. There's an old saying Willard, "don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message." The moral to this story Willard is that your precious Ontario is no different than Galion or most other places in that they are willing to look the other way on character and behavioral issues if it means more victories on the football field. This is really what you are having a problem with but you are transferring all of that anger and frustration onto me. It's fine, I have broad shoulders. I can take it. I know none of the specifics about YOUR "issues" with him. I've not been to a football practice of his at Willard, Galion or Ontario. Thus far I've only seen him coach a few games when he was at Galion and the crowd and all of my many relatives in Galion, several teachers, loved the man and still do. No one asked for my input when he was hired. I know none of the specifics about his hiring. I have NEVER on here talked about him by name. Unlike you who have called him out over and over and over again ad nauseam. You'rer confusing my dislike of your hater attitude, untruths, and disdain for Ontario with supporting a coach. Silliness! Problem is that Hawkins wasn't the only one who was suspended was he Willard. His actions impacted another young man and I don't recall his suspension being reduced. |

You guys are right. Ontario's qb is tough. And only a sophomore! This was probably his worst game too since he wasn't really himself from dealing with a leg injury all week. Also, Im lloving seeing people give it to WF. I've been an Ontario fan for a long time and have had to listen to his pompous chicken shat on here through three league changes! A sophmore?  WOW!!! Well I def look forward to watching him these next few years.His Mechanics we very crisp and pocket presence amazing.I think once he got hit hard it rattled him but he's so young ,huge upside for him.Also I don't know why Ontario went away from the run that #35 LB was a hell of a runner he's was faster that Harding's FB I bet he would fit well in a program that has an H-Back and or just a FB at the next level I think Harding's FB had a little more power but anyway what grade is he? |
