This will be the first conference matchup between these two, who have played each other many times in non conference games
Willard won last year 31-24

Polar Bears will win this one. Both of these teams' one win comes against an FC opponent (with M'ville still being the better of those two, IMO), and I think the Bears caught the Eagles napping week 3.

Margaretta is the favorite in this basement matchup. I think they get this one at home.

Green
Margaretta is much better than Monroeville. Polar Bears will likely win out now and compete for an SRL title since remaining schedule is against teams their size. Playoffs are out of hope, but they'll play for an SRL title.

Playoffs are out of hope, but they'll play for an SRL title. What I meant was not that Monroeville is better than Margaretta. That was clear. I meant Monroeville was better than Plymouth, another FC team Willard played and their only win so far. I notice now I really didn't clarify that.

Drew Pasteur's Ohio Fantastic 50 rankings - SBC River Division #445 Tiffin Calvert #490 Margaretta #498 Willard #534 St Joe #564 Lakota #628 SMCC
He projects the River Standings to be Margaretta 4-1 - Loss to Calvert at Calvert Calvert 4-1 - Loss to Willard at Willard Willard 4-1 - Loss to Margaretta at Margaretta Lakota 1-4 - win over SMCC (already happened) St Joe 1-4 - win over Lakota at Home SMCC 1-4 - Win over St Joe at Home

Calvert is definitely the game in question, they should not lose to any other teams on their schedule. Bet that first year head coach is feeling some heat with a 1-4 start though.

I don't think so - they have played some decent teams - Huron and Norwalk for sure - they really have no business playing them. Should of beaten Western.

The Willard Crimson Flashes- 32 Margaretta- 23
Willard needs to keep control of the football, gain confidence in the secondary and they'll win some games. Little mistake and playing state ranked teams off the rip, doesn't give the Flashes much of a chance to develop a grove. I'd also like to see the return of the 'Bleacher Creatures' and have them push out the 'bleacher coaches'. Go Flashes, get a road win against the outcast of the bear world.

i watched margaretta against both monroeville and huron on bcsn. they played hard against huron but feel apart in the 2nd half, #11 is a tough son of a gun he will have a field day against willard.

Injuries piling up on polar bears sidelines. I’ll change my prediction to 32-13 polar bears

Is the pond full? If not it will be full after the game from all the Polar Bear tears. Go Flashes 20-14

Willard gets crushed again. So, Willards only future wins will be against teams that cant even get 20 kids out to play. This coach is gone.

28-14 is “crushed”?

Looking at scores from around the area, this was actually one of the closer scores. I see a lot of 30-40 point wins tonight.

Willard isnt beating Calvert so lets throw that one out of the potential wins. I see 1 at most 2 wins to top off a 3-7 season.

Willard is installing a 500K turf field. I don't know if I wouldn't just make the area a parking lot.

Willard will be 3-7 when the year is over.
Less than 3 wins will be a letdown.
4 would be nice.

Willards needs to win this game or the coach will be asked to leave at the end of year even though he wants to stay couple more years.
