Good luck BV the odds are against you and the refs as well!!! Well if you fail to get set 10 times in one game the refs will be after you... but that seems to only be a Harding issue. I am not sure on the ODDs but game is going to be tight.

Babymaker you obviously did not see the clip someone posted on the targeting flag against Harding, I'm not pro Harding either I picked Galion and am picking NU to beat them but that game was taken away by the refs regardless of jumping offsides penalties. If Harding n Pleasant play Harding wins 9 out of 10 ol sparty just had some luck this year. I'm not saying they are a bad team either but I do hope BV knocks ol Ankle bracelet in to next week!

"Ol ankle bracelet" no matter what he's done, is a good player. And is probably gonna make pleasant that much better. Douglas was a top back in the moac at Harding, when he could play.

I commented on the clip so yeah I saw it but maybe we watched different games. The targeting penalty move the LOS back 30 yards. That is important, but you can not tell me its more important than moving the ball back from the 1 yard line to the 6 is not a big deal. 3+ of their procedure penalties were in the red zone and those killed drives. You can discredit it but they were significant and they had a huge impact on the game. Hill and Booker from 1 yard out I would bank on punching in, yet they came away with ZERO. People want to focus on the one bad call and gloss over the others and I would say the others were far bigger impact. I am glad you believe that the outcome would be different but the loser always says some sort of nonsense like that. Fact is they won just like Harding won the 2 previous years.

Good luck BV the odds are against you and the refs as well!!! Going there again? Multiple procedure penalties and five turnovers, but it's all on the refs. Got it.

Good luck BV the odds are against you and the refs as well!!! This guy. Offense can't score, defense is decent, but yet the refs are the reason they are not 5-1. LMAO

HHS would beat Pleasant 99 out of 100, and I'll tell you this they were definitely the winner in the "trade" Ladd a great kid on and off the field. Ankle bracelet has had 500 to many 2nd chances. Unfortunately he will look better because he transfers to Pleasant and will be in playoffs. And Pleasant still looks like doucebags for taking him in after all the trash talk last year. Hypocrisy at its best!!! BOO SPARTY...I mean SHARTY

LMAO THIS GUY.... two weeks ago Harding 16 penalties last week against Galion 4.... we lost the game because of turnovers.. 2 major ones inside the red zone plan and simple im not going to blame the refs for it we lost the game but its amazing the difference in penalties at Pleasant compared to a week later...

Harding is the bad guys for giving the troubled kid multiple chances and how does he respond? pictures all over facebook bragging about Pleasant(even though he hadnt taken a snap yet...) but yet Harding hated him Pleasant is like family... even though its everyone else fault he couldn't stay out of trouble...

I'm pretty sure HHS marched down the field and scored on a 10 yard run by their fullback first. It seemed to me once HHS would get on a roll the flags were flying!!! Turnovers or not if refs keep flags up HHS wins by 2 TDs, I've been watching them play for 30 years now and never have I seen a high school so hated. Honest truth I feel bad for them next Friday I remember 2 years ago quite well, they were beating Buckeye Valley hands down and what a ya know....flag flag flag flag flag flag

You should be giving the Harding coaching staff credit. They must have worked all week at practice to clean up those penalties.

So, 7up has been watching Harding for 30 years. He must have been at a lot of opposing schools' homecoming games.

There's a huge difference between watching and paying attention. Perhaps he's just there for the band shows.

Hypocrisy at its best!!! BOO SPARTY...I mean SHARTY We know you can not form a complete sentence but I though you could at least read. Pleasant had zero say in accepting him into their school. Open enrollment has rules. Ladd transferred long before Douglas so not really a trade. You don't find it odd that the person he was fighting with was Ladd... So with that said would you rather the community make an issue worse and shun the kid (he was going there regardless) or try to change a kid that was given a pretty significant wake up call by being kick off a team. What he does with that opportunity is on him but you can not blame the community for trying to make a positive impact in the young mans life. So the only D-bag is you 7 up.

Agreed, in no way was it a trade. Ladd was already there. They woulda been a fun duo to watch. But Douglas starts stuff with plenty of players. And ladd got the best of him and Douglas was kicked off for starting it, and other reasons. We should just wish Douglas the best moving forward. Hope he tears it up this week.

Back to the thread's topic,it looks like BV has a pretty balanced offense with their QB 2nd in the league in passing yards. I know Davies runs the ball almost exclusively for them (about twice as many carries as the next highest rusher in the league). Do they have a decent defense this year? They do have some impressive wins so I look for this to be a heck of a game tonight.

If BV can throw the ball effectively this game could get out of hand early. Pleasants pass defense is very suspect. But you cannot count out the Spartans at home. Pleasant is well coached and the kids respond. I plan on spending a half at the Harding game and a half at Pleasant. Taking BV 38-21. BV’s run game will not allow a comeback this week.

If you can protect the QB I agree there are holes. Thing is their front 4 are fast and can get off the ball so you better be able to give the QB time.
