On to Week 8 we go and the 4-3 Galion Tigers head south to Richwood to take on the 3-4 North Union Wildcats. The Tigers come in to this one after getting blanked by Clear Fork at home 41-0 and the Wildcats were defeated at Marion Harding 31-28. The 2 teams have split the 4 meetings all time with NU winning the 2012 region 14 quarterfinal game as well as last year 41-3. The Tigers won in 2014 and 2015. Interestingly, this year's meeting will be the 4th meeting at NU with the 2015 game being at Galion. Thoughts on this one.....

Based on each team's performance when they played Pleasant, I would say NU by two scores at least.

North Union.
Galion hasn't competed too well with anything but River Valley.
I see Ontario as a possible win to even our record for the year, but that may be it.

That sounds about right, but I can see NU having an emotional letdown after last weeks Harding meltdown. Does anybody know if there were any ejections because of that? If so the kid(s) involved would be ineligible to play this week.

NU by at least 4 scores!! Them big boys know how to block and if Galion thought HHS ran all over them boy I feel bad for them this week. NU even contained HHS speed which was surprising seeing as that's why they wanted out of the league.

The worm has really turned for Galion. 3 - 0 to start the season (all OOC), and then (in the MOAC) 1 and 4 since. This league is TOUGH this year, no doubt !
I'd predict a 5 - 5 season this time around, figuring BV will beat 'em (badly) and Ontario will lose to them (maybe/hopefully). At least Galion has improved their record from last year, and, just like the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns...... "wait till next year".

Galion just looked flat, and NU played with more intensity this week. Some guys stepping up this week and making plays. Good luck to Galion on rest of your season.

When you are missing 2 of your best defensive linemen and your middle line backer against a power running team this result was inevitable.
