Shelby plays st Mary’s at Marion Harding stadium, gonna check that one out. Shelby looks like a fun team to watch this year This game should be a fun one. Have not seen Shelby, but have heard only good things. Two separate styles of offense both really good at what they do.

Wow, thanks for that bit of honest perspective. Wish it would have been there to color our discussion a week or so ago about public/private separated playoffs. You know, that private school kids are still Ohioans, Americans, regular kids, too, just like the ones at the publics? Here I almost felt bad about arguing with you. Turns out, you're just an envious horse's jack wagon, like I first figured. Leave the dude alone he can root for/against whoever he wants. Everyone has their own formula to decide who they root for in games that they have no official ties or interests to. If he usually cheers for publics over privates he is aloud to. If this is related to an argument on a separate thread take it up on that thread. In this particular game it ended up not even mattering as both schools were public schools. Glad to see someone not present for his and my discussion weigh in, complete with shoddy spelling and grammar. I've no less right to speak my blarney on a blatant bias he explicitly betrayed weeks after having out it w/ me after I told some OTHER mealy-mouthed swamp toad to cry boo-hoo into his hankey when he (the OTHER) created a thread solely to ***** about private school talent. Since you admit you're unfamiliar with the source material, I offer you what I feel is a fair counterproposal: next time you feel like defusing an argument by jumping to one side of the line the sand (not exactly a good "Getting to Yes" tactic even if you ARE familiar eith argument), don't. Furthermore, how in the HELL does someone hailing from Galion's corner of NW Ohio NOT KNOW that St. Mary's is the name of the town, and that Watkins Memorial is the high school's name? This is isn't their first playoff rodeo. That alone is worthy of derision. Thumbing his nose at a population of TEENAGERS based on where their parent choose to education. Personally, I think that, like many of my so-called "countrymen" nowadays, he's having increasing difficulty keeping his venomous anti-Catlocism in the closet. It's America's last scceptable bigotry, after all, even in NW Ohio. Look at how quickly his diapers fill when he sees the word "Saint" or "St."

Um, you’re incorrect. Watkins Memorial is a public school in Pataskala, on the outskirts of Columbus, OH. Memorial is the name of the high school. Some of us do know the difference.

I have two dogs and two cats. There, that contributes as much to this bro-ha-ha as anything else said.

Since you admit you're unfamiliar with the source material, I offer you what I feel is a fair counterproposal: next time you feel like defusing an argument by jumping to one side of the line the sand (not exactly a good "Getting to Yes" tactic even if you ARE familiar eith argument), don't. Look at how quickly his diapers fill when he sees the word "Saint" or "St." How does one not know the difference between St Mary's Memorial and Watkins Memorial? Furthermore, perhaps my grammar is off.... I will learn from your example. "Jumping to one side of the line the sand...".is far more coherent then "jumping to one side of the line IN the sand." Also "where their parents choose to education." What the hell does this even mean? Did you mean where their parents chose to send them for an education? You tell me....your the grammar expert. And the best one yet "anti-Catlocism." Catlocism? Is that a cat worshipping cult? Surely the grammar expert would not have misspelled Catholicism. Also galion never said he chose to root against catholic schools....he said private schools. Surely you are not so ignorant to think all private schools are catholic right? Lastly, please enlighten me on the definition of the word scceptable? I would assume you meant to say acceptable and give you the benefit of the doubt on mistakes, but you are big on noticing spelling and grammar mistakes and surely you did not make one yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that, I was really hoping to be wrong on this one. I always root against the privates. Now that's just hurtful. Envious? I don't think so. I just like seeing the underdogs succeed that have to follow ALL of the rules. It's really hard for me to to root for a group of kids who were recruited from a population base that in many cases dwarfs that of their public school opponents then wants to pretend that they are all on equal footing because of whatever the number of students is that they happen to allow into their building.

It's America's last scceptable bigotry, after all, even in NW Ohio. Look at how quickly his diapers fill when he sees the word "Saint" or "St." You're right I did not recognize that St Mary was the name of a town. My bad. That being said I still would have rooted for Highland because they are local. I'm also pulling for Shelby for the same reason. More to the point how do you not know where Watkins Memorial is? Why am I anti-Catholic simply because I want their schools to have to follow the same set of rules that the public schools in their divisions do? You sir are an elitist. You believe that certain kids from certain families should have advantages over others. They should get to go to school with a "higher class" of people. They should get to have advantages over their peers in the classroom and on the athletic fields. In short you are not a fan of the whole melting pot philosophy that this country is allegedly founded on. So let's not start throwing words like "bigotry". That's clearly not what this is about.

Catlocism? Is that a cat worshipping cult? Stanley, How would you know that? That is in fact what it is, but Sabra and Omar, our two cats, advised us against paying any attention to them because the rumor is that they sacrifice mice at their meetings. A waste of food according to Sabra. She should know something since she is 14 going on 15 years old.

Yeah I sloshed this up again. This is what happens when you can't stop responding outside as a rainstorm is starting. Sorry all. Maybe I'm just tired.
