Since OHSAA decided to cut my playoff football attendance in half by playing all the games on Friday night (I HATE that), I'm gonna have to choose between the Clyde, Bellevue, or St. Paul games. Any predictions on where those games may be played? Also, did Sandusky, Perkins, Fremont, or Huron apply to host any playoff games this year?

Clyde - TCC: BGSU or Lake
Bellevue - Clear Fork: Mansfield, Madison or Marion
St. Paul - Calvert: Sandusky or Perkins

Sandusky AD is pathetic so probably not. I am guessing Perkins.

I would like to say Bellevue for St.Paul-Calvert(if Bellevue applied), but the Redmen winning last night probably makes this a longshot.

Norwalk St. Paul vs. Tiffin Calvert is at Fremont (that seemed obvious).
I'd guess: McComb-PG at Findlay TCC-Clyde at Lake
What about Bellevue-CF at Tiffin?

The OHSAA didn't think that completely thru, They limited themselves on choices to have all these Friday games. I don't like it, Cause we can't see 2 games a weekend now. The whole idea is stupid, Most of us would rather go to a good high school game than sit a home and watch Ohio State get smoked, like they did today. Huron is a good place for any game, so I don't have to go far.

Why is the OHSAA making everyone play on Friday ?, I forgot the reasoning. By having all the games played on Friday, You would think they would have all of the game site assignments posted by Saturday night at the latest. If they're not gonna do anything on Saturdays, Then let's go back to they way it was.

Increased competition with college games on Saturday. If a college game is at any time but Noon, it's going to affect the ability of sites to host based on their workers' willingness to be there. They went to Friday's because of college football and dwindling attendance.

jmorgret07, If the ohsaa is so much worried about attendance than I think they missed the train. I was at the Wayne Trace vs. Norwalk St. Paul game last night and the crowd was really down. First off Wayne Trace had a 2 1/2 hr. drive to get to Norwalk, and if you get lost then you are talking about a longer drive plus jr. here is always hungry so you have to stop and get him something to eat. Also you just got home from work, that's at 5pm. and you want to get a shower before you go. If that was me I would be thinking that if I have to go through all that mess I would be saying to hell with it we're staying home. At least on Saturday we could take our time and enjoy it more. Either those people in Columbus are going to have to wake up and either start Saturday days game or maybe to hell with having the top rated teams hosting the first game and just make it all at neutral sites so everybody can be happy or just forget it and go back to the old way before 1972.
