I seen the Bellevue 81 Mansfield Sr 15 game friday night. With just Casey Santoro & Payton Vogel returning as the Baptista girls are going to Fremont Ross and Maddie Wells is not on the team, the very young Lady Red with no seniors will have to gain some varsity experience. Freshman Cory Santoro scored 19pts and looked very good in her varsity debut. They are very fast and quick to react. Should have no trouble winning the SBC Lake Division and should be ready at tournament time.

I was surprised not to see Baptista's name in the box score. Why the move to Fremont?

I am not from Bellevue, but as an independent fan of all local teams you'd have to guess I'm a little curious myself as to the reason why the Baptista girls are at Fremont Ross and where's Maddie Wells? I did see Olivia scored 11 and her freshman sister had 6 in what was a little surprising to me Ross 62-38 win over Clyde last Friday. Nothing the less it would have been nice to see the full Lady Red team intact, but this machine will continue to roll. I'd be interested in checking out the Ross girls who are at Perkins Tuesday 11/28. Not looking for much of a game there as the Pirates have many issues of their own including Marissa Esposito going to Sandusky, some girls not going out, early injuries, new coaching staff and yada yada yada...........

Jones Leadership Acad. was destroyed by little Monroeville last year. It's a TPS Magnet in only its second year of offering varsity athletics, and has not yet had a graduating senior class.

I'm surprised by that score. I expected Shelby to win. Did they lose a lot? I know Willard has talent, but for some reason, I thought Shelby was to be a contender with Bellevue this year.

I honestly don't know, I just saw the score and reported it. It does drop them to 0-3 (the other loses were 48-51 @ Mansfield Madison and 31-43 @ Lexington). Willard is 1-1 (they lost @ Upper Sandusky 50-72 on Tuesday).
