Guess I'll stock up on chief wahoo stuff. But, I will not buy or wear nothing with their 'C' on it. Kinda had that feeling, they were gonna make Cleveland get rid of chief wahoo, for an all star game. I'd rather keep the chief, they can have their so called all star game.

And we have....Washington Redskins, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Chiefs, Golden State Warriors. All but Golden State have controversial logos.

I was going though some old topics and I found on "Do you know your High School's Sports Nicknames" and it was brought up about political incorrect names then low and behold Clb6110 came on said, and I quote, I predict the Chief Wahoo Mascot will be NON EXISTENT by the time the Indians host the All - Star Game in a couple of years. The Indians Brass will bow to the pressure and the loco will quietly go away, unquote. This I believe, since I forgot to check the date, in the summer of 2016. A moment of silence for Chief Wahoo. Today could be his last game for the Indians. Another victim of the PC mob. Shame on the Indian's management/owners for giving the Chief up for the all star game. I think it's highly hypocritical that they will still sell the Chiefs likeness on their stuff. Guess they're not PC enough to lose any $$$$ over it.

The Chiefs logo isn’t a cartoonist person. It’s a arrowhead. Now the Redskins is much more questionable

fbfan wasn't talking about the Kansas City Chiefs, he just forgot an apostrophe. He meant to say "they will still sell the Chief's likeness on their stuff", in reference to the Indians statements that Chief Wahoo merchandise will still be sold after the logo is removed from the uniform.

On Monday the Indians revealed their 2019 uniforms:  - Block C on all 4 caps, with red bill at home and navy bill on the road - All Star Game logo patch on all 4 uniforms - New red home alternate with script Indians in blue - New blue road alternate with block Cleveland in red - Apparently the blue script Indians jersey that was worn home and away will not be a uniform option, for the first time since it was introduced in 1994. |

I thought they were not part of the uniforms as of last year?
I know I've seen the Tribe wearing the Chief Wahoo logo'd uniforms this 2019 season, so what's up with that?
Hate the generic 'C' logo, too close to the Cubs.

You must have seen a "file photo" or clip if you saw an Indians player wearing the Chief Wahoo logo this year. The Tribe management had to banish him to the reservation in order to be awarded the All Star game this year. In his place they put an ugly patch on their sleeves with the All Star logo depicted as a guitar to allude to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for some reason I guess. Looks like a pigeon had good aim from a distance. In some previous years that Cleveland hosted the All Star game, Chief Wahoo was incorporated into that logo. The bock "C" would have been more representative and attractive if they couldn't use the Chief. I don't know of any Cleveland Indians players or ANY pro baseball player that is in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. |

The Cleveland Indians not including their long standing traditional logo (as they have in the past) in the special game logo, in favor of something completely different would be analogous to the Houston Astros, or Houston Rockets, or any sports entity in Houston not featuring a space theme, as has been their long standing tradition. |
