BB, I see that the kid from Rocky River took gold in his event and this just came in that a USA member took the bronze in luge. The first American to ever medal in that event ever. USA, USA, USA.

"Miracurl on Ice"
The USA men's curling team has won gold. Great to see for John Shuster after the way 2010 and 2014 went for him.

BB, We can't forget about the Women's Hockey Team beating the Canadian Hockey Team for the GOLD. I watched that game and believe me that was one very exciding game. Went into overtime and 2 shoot-outs before we scored the winning shot.

BB, That was something special and those announcers really did an excellent job of making that exciding.

Sportsjock, I didn't get to see the ceremonies but my wife seem to like it. There was a lot of great exciding things going on like our men's curling team and the women's hockey team winning the gold and there was some disappointing events like the men's hockey, women's figuring skating and others. but all around very exciding. South Korea went all out on this one. Kudo's to South Korea.

South Korea went all out on this one. Kudo's to South Korea. The computerized, L.E.D. imagery in the seating area was incredible. I think they said each seat had lighting on the arms. The drones were amazing. How they can have hundreds, perhaps thousands of drones in tight formation and zipping around to create all the different images and no collisions.....wow. The 11 yr. old Korean boy singing the Olympics Anthem, had a wonderful singing voice. I never laughed so hard as when the Koreans and Japanese ladies were squaring off in curling. All of them have those dainty, chipmunk like voices and both teams were very vocal.

Boy I missed a lot of all that. I guess next time the Olympics are on I'm not going to any meetings at all or even schedule them. It sounds like I missed a lot. Thanks Sportsjock for telling me the good things that I missed. At least some of this stuff like the opening and closing ceremony's I can go to you tube and watch them.

Here's a nice little recap video of all 9 US gold medals: Thanks BB, that was a great video of our winners. I like the way each and everyone of them had their hands over their heart and proudly singing our NATIONAL ANTHEM.
