Love that Puig is now a Minor Leaguer....awesome....so excited to let him just sit there and rot! That blows...he's over 2 years on service time so you can't even demote to your minors roster. |

Unfortunately, my work has decided to fully block our league. They tried before, but I got around it. It's going to make keeping up on the statistics page tough.
Don't worry though, I've already stated looking for a different job.
My team is experiencing off the field issues.

I've been saying for a few years now that if Puig was going to fill his potential it was going to be in some Podunk city, not in LA. LA should have dealt him 2 years ago, when he still had value. He's got the tools that a lot of teams look for. He's got the head that most teams avoid. Send him to Milwaukee or KC Or someplace like that IMO |

On Monday tell them all happy double seventh festival (chinese valentines day). Asians love it when we get their nationalities wrong. Proof: I work with a japanese guy. |

I did some hiring a few months back and the only rules they gave me was A. Have to be a science major. B. Cannot be black, Chinese or Indian, no exceptions. Well south raw dogged my a**hole! Yikes! This was a matchup that I hope we don't see in the playoffs. BROW had a big matchup and got shafted with scheduling for the week. I think I had 7 two start pitchers and he had maybe 2. He was behind the 8 ball before the matchup even started. I hope we don't see matchups like this in the playoffs. Sucks for those on the short end, and gives advantages to teams based on luck and not team talent.....granted, your players still need to perform. |

It is tough justifying letting a low A guy eat up a roster spot but Maitan was one of the guys i was eyeballing in the off chance i promote Jon Gray this year. He worth the shot i think.

I have doubts about the international scouting reports given. They always seem to make those guys sound like world beaters. IMO its tough to really tell what a 16year old can do playing in what I believe is lower baseball then he would have in the states. But if he puts out like the scout expect him to put out then the wait will be worth it.

Yeah, the track history is certainly not there for international prospects, however, I think in the last 5 years we've seen an uptick in both scouting accuracy and talent coming from players outside the US.
A lot of shoot and misses, but you get that in the MLB draft as well.
If you hit though, you could get a Felix Hernandez,
Beltre
Juan Gonzales
Bernie Williams
An Alomar
Big Papi
Vlad
Pudge
Pujols
Rod Carew
Manny
Ichiro
Pedro
Mariano
Clemente
The list goes on
With the youngest Set of Keepers in the league, I can afford a few stash players on my minors roster.
One thing I know is that I'm excited for when what some call the best RH pitcher on the planet makes his way over in a few years. Hopefully by then we can have away for our Ps to accumulate hitting stats. Otani has a lumber stick as well
