Also, just another idea throwing out there for discussion.
One or two paid keepers.
Keeper #16=$50
Keeper #17=$100
Money goes into league pot.
Obviously we don't want to get anywhere near the point where 'he who pays more has a better team", so I would think 1 and maybe 2 would be the max.
At the end of the day, you're not getting too many game changers at pick 151, but I know some people may choose to pay extra to keep a younger guy or two.
Idk how good this idea is, hoping you guys can give some insight. It would be nice to increase our league pot, without increasing the yearly entrance fee.

I can tell you that i wouldnt pay the same amount as our league entry fee to keep am extra guy. 5 or 10 maybe

I'd be more inclined to just make it $100 for one paid keeper. I don't think everyone would do it, and I don't think it would play much of a factor, but increasing that pot is tantalizing. I'm trying to think if I would have used it last year....ill get back to you |

I would have probably used it on Bauer, and it would've been a waste of 50/100 dollars, but the pot would be at 600

we could charge each team $5 for each keeper they choose, remove the keeper cap, and set the minimum at 10...
...so if an owner kept 20 players he would pay $100 for the year, if an owner kept 10 he would pay $50...could be some strategy involved with the minors promotions and such

Going into this week, I'm 6-2 overall against you 2014: 2-1, with the one loss 0-12 2015: 2-1, with one loss 1-10-1 2016: 2-0, with this week looking much like it'll follow the pattern of years past. Please no 0-12. Please? |

Keep 15: $50 entry fee Keep 16: $60 entry fee 17: $75 18: $95 19: $ $120 20; $150 |

that much money would preclude me from keeping extra guys i think...
...if we did $10 for #16 and just $5 for guys after that then i would be interested
so if i kept 20 it would be $10 for #16 and $5 each for #17-20 = extra $30 from me personally
multiple that by 10 and it's another $300 in the kitty for the winner...
i think we might get more money that way because participation would go up, but i def like the idea of paying to keep more players...kind of like a pseudo-luxury tax...
...only question would be do we lose picks for every guy we keep after 15?

Now the cut throat/jack wagon move is to say I should be allowed and demand it to be allowed. But I also want to make everyone aware of this problem and it is something we should look into for future reference.
