Was trying to rile some feathers with that poll....as requested.
On another note, I think TL23 has pulled himself out of the basement.
Torch, were you last at some point midsession last year? I think in 2014 I was in last place later in the season than now

For the sake of league parity, It's nice to see both SITH and TIG doing well this season. With 5 keepers the first year, it wasn't a huge surprise to see STRO and DRT go from last in 2014 to first in 2015. With 15 keepers this past year, parity was something to keep an eye on.

Nice week South. Bitter sweet that Kershaw had a great game cause he hurt me in this league but helped me win in my other.

I think in 2014 I was in last place later in the season than now Nope, i rolled last season, altho i don't think i took over 1st place from Lastros until after the All Star Break. And it is good to see teams that finish in the basement come out and have a good season the following year, it was Lastros and I last year, Sith and Tiger so far this year. I know Tigeralum worked that minors roster for all it was worth and he is reaping the benefits now. I like a league where hard work and homework is rewarded! Pitching, Pitching, Pitching!

Usually it's not that close, head to head standings vs rotisserie. So much for a luck factor. Speaking of luck, was thinking of adding a luck parameter to the power rankings....it would just take some time, and I'm not sure yet how much it would matter. Speaking of power rankings, I would guess SITH made a jump in rankings based off the last few weeks. Speaking of SITH, I told him the other day that I like that I get the immediate attempt at redemption. He was supposed to be my back-to-back, but the scheduling made me switch the two weeks. I like the quick matchups, but only for out of division opponents.

How about Mookie betts...wow Damn of course I am facing the team that has him! It's bittersweet since I own him in another league. 5 dingers in two games. Whole Red Sox offense is going off this year

Strength of Schedule(Hardest to Easiest)[/u] 1. TESL----95.5 2. CEO ----89 3. REDS ----78 4. BELL ----66.5 4. BROW ----66.5 6. TL23 ----62.5 7. TIG ----61 8. STRO ----54 9. DR.T ----49 10. SITH ----38 Opposing match up statistics were compiled over the course of the 1st 8 weeks. These numbers were summed for counting statistics, they were summed and averaged for AVG, OPS, ERA, WHIP.....all were then used to compile a Rotisserie type ranking for strength of schedule. The next Power Rankings will incorporate these statistics, weighted of course. You can check all the statistics for errors in the google sheet for statistics. It is under the 3rd tab labeled "strength of schedule". docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RyiaHaHAU0ueeG6xwzeCWBx3x8by4BkiVaP6zLZlB7I/edit?usp=sharingSome notes: OffenseOffenses are teeing up in the weeks they face TESL. He has the highest AVG(.281), OPS(.838) against him, as well as the most R scored(334), the most RBIS(329) and the 2nd most HRs hit against him. Offenses are pooping their pants when facing STRO in a match up. He has the lowest amount of R(292), RBI(264), SB(28) scored against him as well as the lowest AVG(.246) and OPS(.739). PitchingThere was no runaway loser that has been hammered by pitching as 4 are within 4.5 pts of each other. CEO leads the way. Pitchers have thrown the most Ks(597), the most Ws(43)[tied] and the 2nd most QS. Pitchers struggle mightily when faced in a match up with SITH. Pitchers are in the bottom half of all categories when facing him, including the worst ERA(4.08), the least amount of Saves(20) and the 2nd worst WHIP and QS. OverallIt seems to be about what you might expect. 4 of the 5 Easiest schedules so far hold 4 of the 5 best records in the league through 8 weeks. The only outlier is CEO, who has the 2nd hardest schedule and the 4th best record**** ****Doesn't surprise me. One of the reason I wanted to look into the strength of schedule is that I felt I was getting beat around by teams in match ups....but not as bad as TESL apparently.

here is an idea for a poll:
best player currently on a major league roster and on a fantasy roster that was drafted as a minor and promoted

^ I'll put it up tomorrow when I have some time to compile some stats for it.
Off the top of my head, I know Bryant is one on the list. I'm unsure of the others. Probably seager?
