Bucyrus vs. Cardington-Lincoln - improving Bucyrus has a chance in this one
Buckeye Central vs. Dalton - rough ride this year, BC just trying to hold on
Wynford at Edison - Wynford breaking in soph QB after losing starter in last scrimmage
Carey vs. Galion - Experienced Carey team beat Wyn. in playoff last year
Mohawk at Hopewell-Loudon - Mohawk returns a lot from their playoff team
Upper Sandusky vs. Mount Gilead - new Upper coach easily goes 2-0
Seneca East vs. Newark Catholic - SE will be strong again this year, a win for them
Colonel Crawford vs. North Union - will see what CC really has, MG was no competition
Any discussion or thoughts?

This will be a good barometer week for the N-10. Wynford, Mohawk and C.C. all have games that could trip up their playoff hopes. Carey-Galion I think will be the best game to watch this week in my opinion. Upper-Mt.Gilead will be a track meet if it goes anything like last years.

I would add Seneca East to your barometer list. Newark Catholic is usually a playoff contender and could turn out to be huge for SE point wise if they can knock them off. Long road trip for NC on a Friday is an advantage for SE.
Mt. Gilead has a big all Ohio TE that lines up wide a lot, but not much else in their tool box. Contain him and Upper will be OK.
I agree, Carey/Galion will be a good one, but so will Wynford/Edison. First ever meetings for those teams I believe, as is CC/NU.

Bucyrus vs. Cardington-Lincoln - Cardington by 13.
Buckeye Central vs. Dalton - Dalton wins easy.
Wynford at Edison - Wynford by 1.
Carey vs. Galion - Carey by 14.
Mohawk at Hopewell-Loudon - Mohawk by 14.
Upper Sandusky vs. Mount Gilead - Upper beats the worst KMAC team and the worst MOAC team to start 2-0. Upper by 28.
Seneca East vs. Newark Catholic - Seneca East by 1. Great game expected.
Colonel Crawford vs. North Union - Col. Crawford by a touchdown.

You have to give props to the N10 for beefing up the schedule this week. It didn't work out quite as they had hoped but still at least they played the games.

Found out what CC really has, or should I say what they don't have. NU ran right through them at will most of the time. CC's offense did OK. Moved the ball somewhat. To be fair, I think NU will be one of the top teams in the MOAC. Great O line and their backs are fast once into the secondary. Tough loss for Carey against another MOAC school. I think they will still be in the mix for the N10 though. From the reports, Wynford not hitting on all cylinders....yet. Edison is a solid team. Seneca East looking good, two solid wins. Bucyrus and Upper have improved, they will not be the easy outs they have been recently for the top N10 teams. Mohawk right on track to challenge the other top N10 teams.

I was off in my week 2 thoughts. North Union is better than expected. Gallon to. Cardington is much worse than I thought or Bucyrus has improved. Upper is getter but will get blasted by the top N-10 teams.

Take that NU game with a grain of salt. They are probably the best of the teams that the N10 played last night. You should have seen what they did to Galion the last 2 years. CC should have scheduled Galion and let Carey deal with NU. Edison is just a larger version of Wynford. That was never going to be a good match up for Wynford. I tried to warn you that Galion is a bit better than people think. Also, Carey is a decent D6 football team Galion is supposed to win this game. I don't think that the results of week 2 change the outlook for the N10 much at all as far as the top 4 goes. Also, the top 4 will have little trouble with Bucyrus. Upper is a question mark. We'll all know more about them after this Friday.
