Ontario came out and scored in the second half. 2 pt to tie was just short.
Highland took over from there. Ontario had a ton of penalties and was very undisciplined.

Ontario, without their stating tailback, was down 18 to 16 in the 3rd. But 8 penalties(2 personal fouls, 3 holding), a TD called back, 4 fumbles, 3 INTs one a pick-6, is WAY too much to overcome when playing a bigger, more physical and more experienced team. Football is as much a mental game as a physical game. There is NO excuse for mental mistakes.

Ontario should not care if Black River is better than Lexington or Shelby at this point. But we do know they are not better than Clear Fork and Ontario should care about that.

Not so bright one...PLEASE show us where I said that I DID care about Black River. All I did was respond to the statement you, who I DO NOT "care about", made. I can't help that I have a VERY logical mind. IF, as you postulate, "Black River could be better than Highland". It then follows that Black River should be MUCH better than Lexington and Shelby. Since Ontario beat Lexington and Shelby was lucky that they beat Lex. Who is "we"?? Why should Ontario "care about" what YOU think they should "care about"? Wasn't it you during basketball season, who made the brilliant statement that you didn't "care about" winning games, didn't "care about" winning titles? You just "care about" competing. Someone that "cares" more about winning titles must be using your screen name to post.  |
