8:00 at Jerry World on ABC.
This will be the 7th meeting between these teams, the first since 1973, and will be the first one played outside of Columbus.
Ohio State leads the series 4-1-1, but there's a rather interesting fact about those 2 games Ohio State failed to win:
1957: TCU 18 Ohio State 14 - Ohio State finished 9-1, won Coaches Poll National Championship 1961: TCU 7 Ohio State 7 - Ohio State finished 8-0-1, won FWAA National Championship

Coach Day is quoted in 11 Warriors, concerning his quarterback.
Day said; "Haskins has the authority to make changes at the line of scrimmage in both the passing game and running game, and that Haskins has a good handle on that".
Day said; "The Buckeyes are asking Haskins to read a defender – sometimes a defensive end, sometimes a linebacker, sometimes a safety – on mostly every play".
Having a QB that has a good read on the defensive alignment and the ability to get us in the correct offensive set is huge.

Anyone know what the ticket allocation is for the game?

I believe the game is being played in Jerryworld. I don't think tickets will be an issue.

I want to see a strong and convincing performance by the Buckeyes Saturday. TCU will be hosting Oklahoma on October 20th and everyone will be using the results of both games as a barometer for comparisons of the 3 playoff contenders.

Rumor has is that Urban has already done a pre-taped interview with ESPN to air at some point tomorrow on Gameday. Again, this is only a rumor. Fowler and Herbstreit were on campus watching practice this week. Aside from an attempt at exposure to a national audience for reputation reclamation, I think this is a waste of time. Put your head down, grind, and focus on the kids playing the games. Stop feeding the media. And if Herbstreit is, in fact, the one asking the questions, I can only imagine the softballs he would lob - which would only cause more headaches. Can we just get to 8:00PM tomorrow night already without unneeded distractions?!

He has to do something like this some time some where. THEworst time would be in his first required press conference after the suspension is over, when the Ohio State media room will be packed with dozens of people from the national media, instead of the normal zero. If he does this, BEFORE his first game back, so when another question is asked the remainder of the year, Urban can say, "Asked and answered, next."

I can't imagine there will be a 'required' interview or question & answer press conference. This man has been raked over the coals for the past month, had his reputation and integrity sullied by ruthless reporters and news media tasting blood. Enough is enough. If I'm Urban Meyer, I would not utter one single word on any of that manufactured mess. Wipe this sad episode from your brain and focus forward. Don't give them the satisfaction to distort or dissect this affair any longer. Zip it would be the wise thing to do.

14-6 TCU, offensively. Tate Martell's turn ? Offense not doing much with Haskins jr. Defense can't stop them.

Sloppy play on #11, sorry to put you out there big dog.
Defense just can’t get a stop, not good.
Haskins is making plays, the guys gotta catch those hot potatoes though.

Targeting rule against #30 is BS! Hawkins got hit, but I don’t think the intent was behind it. I can appreciate protecting the players, but good Lord, we’re turning them into wusses.

Great job to bounce back after that bad first half
Too bad Day's decision to chase points early is going to cost a bunch of us in the picks challenge

Overall, the Buckeyes played well, with few mistakes. TCU played like we thought they would, under Gary Patterson. Buckeyes, never panicked when they were down, showed patience and when the moment presented itself, opportunists. This was a very entertaining game, for all viewers, no matter where your loyalties might be.

Too bad Day's decision to chase points early is going to cost a bunch of us in the picks challenge I lost $2,900 of fake money because he didn't kick the extra point. It's time to remove him from Head Coach and put Meyer back in, we will see if they take my advice.

Loved Haskins throws. Loved the RB's O-Line gets a B, O-Line was so bad on the 1st 2 run plays that Day was scared to call runs down by the endzone on the 1st drive costing us 4 points WR's get a B, #11 had too many drops the rest played well D-Line gets an A LB's get a C DB's get a C
Still lots of work to do with back 7 on defense and run blocking on offense before this team becomes truly NC caliber. Playing like a Top 5 team right now, just not a #1.

Things were going so well. Three weeks of semi-OSU football normalcy. Actual on-field analysis. Player focus. A big early season non-conference victory over a top 15 team. Haskins hype. Bosa intrigue for Happy Valley. And then Tom Rinaldi showed up. What an awful decision for Urban to take this interview. We should be breaking down the TCU win today. But less that 12 hours later, we’re now back to the angry Twitter mob & steaming hot takes from the national media. Ugh. I feel bad for the team. The focus should be on them this morning, not Urban.
