If you are ever in St. Augustine Beach or Butler Beach FLA, highly recommend Romanos by the Beach. Pizza is very good, lots of sweet and garlic sauce with plenty of cheese and toppings as well. Rate it as one of best ever had, IMO. Get it at least once every year we are down there. A pizza place in Florida is one of the best you’ve had? That’s the complete opposite of public and personal experience. Interesting

Couple of pizza places in MT Vernon we have tried. Amato's Woodfired Pizza was ok, Creno's Pizza not so much. Pirates Cove is the place for pizza in Mt Vernon, just down from the football field. Good pizza and they also have a gluten free pizza. Pirate's Cove in Mount Vernon closed a few years back, Victim of Covid I believe. Re-open a year or so back as Carpalley's , more of a bar now but they offer takeout pizza. We tried it this weekend, to me the bar setting and pizza were both a big step down from the old Pirate's cove pizza.

Had PizzaBurg pizza in Mt Gilead this weekend. Really thin, usually not a big fan of really thin pizza with no crust around the edge but this was decent.

Had Purple Indian pizza in Mt Gilead, for the first time since it re-opened.
It may not be quite as good as before but still one of the better ones around.

After our canoe trip in Loudonville we stopped at the Trails End Restaurant and had pizza and chicken tenders, both were pretty good.

Tried a couple pizza places in Carrollton Ohio this summer.
Jimmy’s Pizzeria and Crossroads Pizza neither were great, both very similar.
Crossroads was pretty dry (not enough sauce) so I guess Jimmy’s got a slight edge over it.
Wouldn’t go back for either.

Ok here is a favorite of mine I only get once a year Puglisi’s Pizza. They set up a trailer at the Richland County Fair. Talked to them last night told them I can remember getting slices of pizza from them since I was a teenager, that’s been a few years ago. Asked them how long they have been sitting up at the fair and he told me 41 years. They are set up this year across from the pony barn. The pony barn is a few barns down from the smelly chicken barn. Go out to the fair and have a good time and maybe try a slice of Puglisi’s. They are back at the Richland County fair this week, better go try it. Looks like if you didn't get to the fair this year you missed out. Sounds like after around 50 years of food trucking Puglisi is retiring. Sad to see him go.

Best pizza ever, was at 'Joey D's Chicago Style Eatery & Pizzeria' in Bradenton, Florida. We had two couples that ordered the 'Monsters of the Midway' pizza with a Sicilian crust. We all concurred, it was the best pizza any of us had ever eaten....ever. (that's a lot of pizza..lol)

Had pizza at a place called The Pizzeria in Columbus Grove the other day.
It was decent, has a nice dine in area. Worth stopping if you’re in town.

Chicago style pizza is closer to a casserole than a pizza Quite true, the 'Monsters of the Midway' had a Sicilian crust. I prefer the New York style crust, but I enjoy a thick pizza now and then. That's why we all love pizza so much, the skys the limit in the wide variety of offerings.

Ate at Warrior Pizza in Ontario last night. It was decent. Not as good as say Baker's or Peans but decent. Guess I’ll have to try to give Baker’s another try, a few people on here like it. Had it years ago and wasn’t a big fan, never went back. It’ll probably be hard to ever get there again, cause if I’m in Bucyrus eating it’s usually going to be ribs at Old 30.

Was in Malvern OH to watch the Malvern Hornets – Waterloo Vikings game.
We tried West End Pizza there in town, we thought it was pretty good.
Last couple inches of the crust around the edge reminded me of a
Leaning Tower sub in Mansfield, and that’s a good thing.

Marion's Piazza in the Dayton area is a descent pizza. Thin, cut in small squares, is not usually my favorite style but we all liked it.
Couple others pizza places in the Dayton area that friends down there said they liked were Dewey's pizza and Pies and Pints.
