I recently discovered and tried Gioninos in Shelby. Good size pie and moderate price. The it factor for me is the following, and everyone probably does not agree--lol Do the last 2 slices taste good in the morning? Gio's passes the test for me.

Clyde must be at the center of your tiny, little universe....lol Seriously though, never tried the Pizza House. It’s ok, not a destination pizza however by any means Pizza House in Clyde has that taste that's so hard to find.....nostalgia. Domino's re-invented their pizza a while back. Per Wiki: In the work that I do -- technology consulting -- Domino's is looked at as incredibly innovative and successful in digital transformation. They're an older company that has updated its mindset and business and uses technology in really compelling ways to provide experiences and value to customers.

Domino's understands the advertising game, if you tell the masses that something is new and improved and great the brain dead masses will by into it and believe it. Chef Boyardee did a similar thing when cheapened their box pizza by pulling all the spices out of the sauce then tried to tell everyone it was the new and improved sauce when in fact it now sucks. We don't buy them any more. Both of these companies have tried to make their products cheaper by cutting ingredients and using poor quality ones. So you can tell me their innovative in technology all you want but my taste buds tell me it's not good. I say quit wasting money on giving me the ability to track a pizza on my phone and start making a quality pizza.

Jac and Do's and Napolis are two of the best places in tiffin if you like thin crust pizza.

Jac and Do's and Napolis are two of the best places in tiffin if you like thin crust pizza. Is that connected to the Napoli's pizza in Shelby? The one on Shelby is ok, have not tried it in Tiffin. I've had Jac and Do's it is good.

What is your favorite pizza joint around this area. Please don’t tell me about some place in Chicago or New York. And no chains, I want to hear about the good mom and pop places in the local towns. I like the Pizza Wheel in Bellevue Ohio My favorite pizza in the area is Pizza Brothers. Yup it's a regional chain... way she goes. Other places that I like: Two Cousins in Mansfield, Huron Pizza House (when it was DeCaro's years and years ago it was my ace), and Danny Boys/Old Time. TBT: Dockside Pizza in Huron.

List reminded me of Myles Pizza Pub in BG... they were definitely a favorite back during my college years... unfortunately they shuttered a couple years ago. Going to try that covered bridge deal one of these days...

Back in the day when Willard used to play regional bball at BG our regular pre game most of the time was Myles. From what I remember it was outstanding. One of those joints that now that it is gone you miss even more.

Don't understand how they could exclude Warrior Pizza in Ontario? As WF mentioned in a previous post: The Warrior's pizza has won at least two 1st place awards at a national competition in Vegas.

Surprised Two Cousins was #1. I thought it was good but no Bakers, Peans and a few more. That is the beauty of pizza it can be made millions of ways and to each their own as far as preferences go.

I agree, but....man all those pizza's they showed looked so....good. Most guys have a problem of keep shoveling it in, when it comes to pizza.

If you think the publishers of a list of "bests" really cares about the true accuracy of those lists, guess again. Most people don't realize that lists of the best published online or elsewhere aren't there to provide a definitive list of the best of anything. Rather they, like anything published, are designed to get people to click, comment on, tune in, read, and/or buy. The best way in this age of online everything to get people to click and then comment is publish a list of the "best" of anything subjective... like food, music, movies, TV shows, racecar drivers, quarterbacks, basketball players, bears... anything where everyone's idea of the "best" is actually a favorite. Guaranteed you'll end up with tons of commenters who go on to complain that the "best" listed isn't actually the best, that their idea of the "best" was completely forgotten, and/or that the order should have been different. The more engaged will argue with each other, which keeps them coming back to the site. Then, someone drops a bit of politics in there and it goes crazy. Sometimes things go viral and it draws the attention of other publishers. This is exactly what the publishers of these lists want. Basically they're making money off of all these folks' passions in the form of free labor and content. It's genius, really... because so many people (1) believe that anyone providing online content are truthful, objective, and relavant, and (2) are quick to let their emotions drive them when they are veiled behind the relative anonymity provided by a computer console. The only controls provided are typically those to keep the publisher out of legal trouble and to keep negative social press at-bay. The same goes for any other content. Misinformation, mistakes, political spins, and grammar/spelling errors are sprinkled liberally into so-called "news" articles and other online content to stir people up and get them to engage. This is intentional. Did you know that commenting system moderators typically are also responsible for engaging and poking the actual commenters to stir the pot and get them going? News aggregator websites like Yahoo News have this down to a science. While some of what they post is actually news and they employ some writers in-house, most what you see is outside content wrapped into their system, complete with their own commenting system. They select a wide range of third-party content and also bring in sponsored content. The vast, vast majority of what they publish should be considered entertainment, but most of their following seems to consist of a very impassioned group of people who believe what Yahoo News posts is (or should be) factual, objective news. In reality, it is best to consider Yahoo News and other sites like them to be entertainment outlets just like the so-called "clickbait" sites.

Anybody ever eat at Cozzeria Pizzeria in Elyria I saw someone rated it best in Ohio.
These are what we think are the best 3 pizza joints near Shelby. All in Mansfield and all drive through beer docks
Southside Pizza Countryside Pizza Deschner's Pizza
I’m not sure what the connection to beer docks is. It’s not because I’m drunk when I eat it, I’m not a big drinker. Anyway these are most definitely better than any of the chains. Papa John’s isn’t too bad for a chain restaurant we get it sometimes.

I think when determining best pizza you have to categorize them into types of pizza.
Neopolitan Football (New York style) Deep Dish (Chicago)
Personally I’m not a deep dish fan. Seems close to a casserole

Seems close to a casserole I'm not a big fan of it either, kept hearing how good the Chicago style pizza was at the new Giordano's down in Polaris. We tried it, I didn't think it was very good.

Best way to eat Dominos
Step by step
1 Order Dominos 2 When you get it tear the lid off the box and cut it in a big circle. 3 Put a little Mids pizza sauce on the circle and some mozzarella cheese 4 Pop it in the oven at 400 for 15 min (don’t forget to preheat) 5 Pull it out of the oven and eat 6 It will be better than the dog food that came inside the box. 7a Feed the Pizza(dog food) that came in the box to your dog (if you don’t like your dog) 7b Or just through it out

As bad as Dominos is I think Cici's is just as bad or maybe worse. You will get the runs eating either.
