Interesting list! Some of the photos had me laughing and looked downright nasty. Others looked great. Seneca County, think I would choose Fatheads pizza in Republic, over Heavenly.

LaRosa's Pizza down around the Cincinnati area I wouldn’t consider a mom and pop pizza joint, it’s a chain But from what I remember it was pretty good, kind of a sweet sauce

We ate Luigi's in Akron after a track meet last year. Kept hearing how good it was but none of us were impressed. There’s a bunch of pizza places in Akron I wouldn’t go back to that one.

Several years back we spent the weekend in Chillicothe (Went and saw Tecumseh) recommend it. Anyway while we were there we ate at Pappa Dino's Pizzeria it was one of the best pizza I can remember. Not sure if it is still there or not, if you go down to watch Tecumseh let me know if it is.

Anyone remember Thunder Road Pizza or the Flying Turtle restaurant in Mansfield Ohio both out by the airport and race track. Both have closed down, Thunder Road Pizza was near the race track on Rt 13 and the Flying Turtle sat right on the airport kind of a cool spot you could see the plains come in and out, think its now a Subway (what a waste of a prime spot)
A new pizza place opened up down the road from the airport last year The Pizza Company only open 9:30am to 6:00pm

Shelby sure misses that place. Not a fan of Penn Station either

The Fireman sub at Napoli’s in Shelby is probably the best sub in town.
Shelby’s East of Chicago had a decent pizza sub till the new owners took over, don’t care for it now.

JJ's is as close to the old Willard Pizza Shack that you can get. I enjoy it a couple times a year but haven't tried it recently. I have a buddy that lives nearby and I know he had a sub from there last night(ordered from my house) and said nothing has changed.

Heard from a friend that TNT Pizza in Sycamore Ohio is great, their favorite around the Bucyrus area. Can anybody confirm that it's good. I’ll have to give it a try one of these days.

Clara's Pizza in Mansfield, I would rate it as OK If you like trying different places it’s worth a try but don’t expect it to be in the running as the best you’ve had. It’s not like a Purple Indian type pizza that would push top five.

Saw a number of people on here put the Pizza Post in Norwalk down as one of their favorites. So this past weekend we stopped and tried it. Got to say I feel sorry for the people in Norwalk if that’s what you considered best pizza. None of us were impressed, it was thin, greasy and lacked flavor.

I know that’s the way we look at taste and opinions, mine is always right so yours must be wrong. By the way I have had pizza from the Post in the past and don’t remember it being anything special.
After a day at the Medina Antique Mall we went out for pizza. Went to Antonio's Pizza in Medina I was told was very good. When we tried it we thought it was just average at best. A step up from say a bad Pizza Hut type pizza but not great by any means. Nice looking wavy crust rim around it, guess they tried to make it look like grandma’s apple pie. Have not tried every pizza in Medina but I would say you would be much better off going to Courthouse Pizzeria than Antonio’s after having both. Courthouse is very good Antonio’s average.
We almost tried Master Pizza in Medina, say’s it’s Detroit style, anybody know what that means?

It’s the quest for finding northern Ohio best pizza. Have fun with it and know your going to eat a turd of a pizza at some point in the search.

Thin and greasy is correct, but I would argue that their pizza lacks flavor. I was almost personally responsible for keeping The Post in business during the 80's, and have the body today to prove it.

How to eat a Deschner's pizza
Unlike homewrecker’s instruction on Domino (to eat the box and not the pizza) which probably is sound advice for Domino. You will want to eat the Deschner's pizza.
I've eaten this pizza since the 80’s and here is my advice on it.
When ordering get it with ½ cheese trust me it’s still more than twice that of normal pizza. You will want to get a pepperoni pizza they have a thicker pepperoni I don’t know if it is a special recipe made for them or not but it is thicker sliced and much better than most. There may be more pepperoni than you want but you can pick a few off.
So if you want to really taste a good pizza get a pepperoni pizza and tell them ½ cheese. They have great crust and sauce you will want to taste it don't hide it with too many toppings.
Warning do not get hamburger on this pizza it comes about ¾ inch thick all over the top and will ruin the pizza. I don’t like getting mushrooms on a Deschner's either they put way too many on and it over powers the flavor of the pizza and all you taste is fungus. If you think you really have to have mushrooms I would tell them no more than ½ the normal. They don’t skimp on toppings, finished pizza will be around ¾” thick maybe more if you pile on toppings. This is a thick traditional crust pizza not a pan style. Pan style sux.
But like I said earlier if you want to taste the pizza just get a pepperoni only and you only need 1/2 the cheese.

I didn't know there were pizza places other than Pizza House in Clyde. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Clyde must be at the center of your tiny, little universe....lol Seriously though, never tried the Pizza House. I had Pizza House in Clyde it was just ok IMO. Not one I will miss if I don’t go back. I don’t think it’s worth a trip to Clyde just to go there but if You are passing through like I was try it for yourself. Anybody had Big D's Pizza in Clyde I wonder if I should have gone there instead.

A Deschner Pizza with everything, minus anything you just don't care for. Is the most pizza I've personally ever seen. Enough pizza to eat for 2 or more meals. If you don't want to do that, order one size smaller than you usually order. For the heck of it, I once ordered a Deschner's pepperoni pizza with "extra" cheese, just to see what would happen. The pepperoni was buried in there some where.
