Scott when are we going to see up there in our beloved booth again. I'm going to miss coming up there and talking about high school sports and your beloved buckeyes and my fantastic Wolverines. We could even talk about the old days (or as my sons say, the days when we competed with no helmets or pads and the forward pass wasn't invented yet.) You remember those days when your child said the same thing to you like back in our days we didn't have public address systems. We had to use a megaphone to announce the games and give play by play.

I am also going to miss Scott. He was one of the best High school broadcasters this area has ever had. That includes broadcasting the many Games WLKR carried, the locker room show, and his morning show and Newscasts. Why did Scott leave, outside of getting married? I like you, deathfromabove, enjoyed talking to him about our Wolverines and getting him all wound up, although compared to most buckeye fans he was pretty down to earth. Anyway, Scott's replacement has big shoes to fill. Good luck Scott wherever you are.

Gibby, I'm with you why should marriage get in the way, naturally I'm doing this without my wife watching over my shoulder. I heard that when he got married he moved to Van Wert. He did say that he'll be doing some games though. Scott and I always had some great discussions about football on teams past and present and their game plans, what should have been done or what they are going to do. And when Mark was there we all talked the good times we had in our past and what we did, and with one or some of us, that we never got caught doing it. Thank GOD cause if I got caught boy would I ever get it at home. Scott if you ever come back here let us know so your fans can come up and talk with you or better yet, a bunch of us have a tailgating party across the street on St. Mary St. stop on over before the game and enjoy the festivities.

Hi guys, Thanks for the kind words. As far moving and marriage there's no smoking gun or hidden agenda. My wife wasn't able to find employment in her field anywhere remotely close to the area, so I decided to move to where she is, which is two hours away. It's as simple as that. I enjoyed my 26 years at WLKR, and I'll admit it still feels a bit strange not being there. I don't miss getting up at 3:30am every day. I still chat with my friends there on a regular basis, and I told them if they need me and I'm available I would love to come back and do a game or two. Otherwise I'll pop back from time to time, and it anyone wants to meet up, great!

Scott, I sure did miss hearing you on the air last Friday and Saturday night. It just wasn't the same without you there. I know it was their first game but those two guys were boring and they kept using the same words and phases over and over again. I got tired of hearing them that I almost fell asleep listening to them so I turn the station to K-96 and listen to the Bellevue-Huron game. I'll give them another chance but if they don't improve you are gonna hear from me beggin' you to please come back.

Just give them a chance...It's not as easy as some people think.

Scott, I hope your right but you know me on how I can constantly talk and talk....and talk. Maybe I should become a broadcaster. By the way Scott my son Christopher is doing great as a sports broadcaster in his senior year at Muskingum. You would be proud (like I am) of him. Just think you used to announce his name on the radio for St. Paul's football and now he's doing the same thing for Muskingum.
