Week 9 is upon us already as the Ontario Warriors travel to Unckrich Stadium to take on the Galion Tigers. Ontario, 3-5 1-4 in MOAC lost 54-15 last week to Clear Fork while Galion, 4-4, 1-4 MOAC list to North Union 49-34 last week. Galion is 4-0-1 all time against Ontario and won last year 35-20 at Copeland Field. Thoughts on this one.....

I can't help but think that Galion will win this one...….at least that is what my heart is telling me. My mind, however, says that there is a chance that the Tigers will lose. At least it's a home game for the Tigers.

On average, Galion scores too many points for Ontario to win

On average we give up quite a few as well. If you can sweep to either side of the field with any competency whatsoever you’ll score well above your average

This one is tough for me to make a call on. Galion does score a lot and generally with ease. They don’t have a great running game overall but have 2 nice receivers and a quarterback who does a nice job giving them the ball. Their defense really struggles a lot. The runs around the ends are very problematic and even if they get to 3rd down they can’t get off the field. I want to think Galion will win but the defense is going to have to play better than it has the last 2 weeks.

If Galion's defense is "worse" than it's offense is "good", then Ontario will this.

Lol Ontario has a decent defense but horrible offense. I’m surprised at the score so far. Ontario up 14-10

Just checked the numbers and Galion is above Shelby in the region. Not many in preseason would have had that.

A nice win for the Tigers tonight. One of Ontario’s touchdowns came on a kickoff return. I thought Galion’s defense looked better tonight than in several weeks but a lot of that was Ontario’s offense. They were slower and quarterback wasn’t too accurate. Hopefully the boys enjoy the win and get ready for the challenge at Buckeye Valley next week.

I would have taken Galion to beat BV at start of yr, but BV has found something with RB and Middle of the Defense.

He's returned several punts and kickoffs for TDs. Also had a couple called back. Agree on the QB. Ontario has a 6th grader that will be much better than this 9th grader. The next Ontario QB Senior High's coach will be recruiting.

Big kickoff returns against Galion are pretty much the norm when we actually attempt to kick the ball farther than the 45.

Just checked the numbers and Galion is above Shelby in the region. Not many in preseason would have had that. Even more surprising is that Ontario is right behind Shelby in the region with only 3 wins
