On to Week 10 we go and the Galion Tigers finish off their season traveling to northern Delaware County to take on the Buckeye Valley Barons. Both schools are 5-4 with Galion defeating Ontario 45-21 last week while Buckeye Valley defeated North Union 31-20. Buckeye Valley won last year 44-14 in Heise Park. This will be last meeting between the two schools for the foreseeable future with Buckeye Valley leaving the MOAC after this year. Buckeye Valley leads the all time series 5-1 with Galion’s lone win coming in 2014. They played non conference games in 2006 and 2007. Thoughts on this one.....

Let me see:
BV beat NU by 11 (just this past Friday, Week 9) NU beat GAL by 14 (the week before, Week 8)
I think BV, who seem to have Galion's number anyway, will beat the Tigers by 21. (45-24).

Left at half. Galion killing themselves with turnovers and penalties.

As I said before, who would have predicted them to finish ahead of Shelby in the region. Good season to build on.

Unfortunately how true. They showed they could play with the big boys, CF Pleasant NU. Had the defense been able to stop some of these teams then the ceiling could’ve been much higher. The good thing is there wasn’t many serious contributing seniors on this team and more talent on its way up. The future looks bright for Galion Football.
