Friday's game at the Glass Bowl will be the 16th meeting all-time between the Little Giants and Knights in a series that began in 1983. St. Francis leads the series 8-6-1. Both teams are out of the playoffs, the winner at least can say they finished the season at 5-5.

Fremont’s defense has been really good this year. Its a shame the offense couldn’t keep up with them. They held Clay to -39 yards rushing. I look for that trend to continue against St. Francis. Doesn’t mean they’ll win tho as the offense tends to give up points...

About 4 weeks ago they put Hayden Lehmann at safety. It helped a little bit. But ironically that’s when we started turning the ball over like crazy on offense.
Defensively, Dontrez Brown is having an all-state year on the dline. He is pretty much unstoppable. I sure hope he lands somewhere big in college. He’s an animal.

I remember him ( brown) in sandusky,quite a young man..I heard he blocked another punt Friday.My relation works at Elmwood, tells me dontrez has 2 younger brothers in MS ? If so great for us!lol.Where's he looking for college?
We ( sansusky) gotta salvidge our season,our defense imploded 2nd half of year, we lost 2 or 3 linebackers to injury during tiffin game.Our defense is mostly juniors be seniors next year.Shonsai returns at QB with Stewart and a few Young wrs currently playing.Injuries have forced us too kids
Not sure where Stewart is goin for school I think toledo,michigan state,Cincinnati,BG,I think Pitt so far looking, no offers.

I've posted this before, and even in GBC days with Napoleon, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to visit the smaller schools in the area to see how they do it. The same schools that steal the press in News-Messenger/Register to the point Fremont/Sandusky residents gripe even when they don't deserve the pub |

As for this victory over St. Francis, very impressive condsidering McKinstry had been playing the past few games with a broken wrist. Schneider played with one hand also from a chainsaw accident. And Lehmann was banged up with ribs and leg/foot. Yet the resident troll here says Ross kids don’t work hard 🙄
As for next year I have to disagree with you Nelson. Fremont is losing basically everybody but 2-3 starters. Its gonna be a rebuilding year at best.
