oberlin is not a football powerhouse in lorain county, there in with columbia, buckeye 2 playoff teams last year, clearview, lutheran west, firelands, brookside, wellington, brooklyn and black river.so oberlin might be around.500 if not under.

I can't believe everyone is picking NL over Oberlin. Is Oberlin that bad these days?
I've never known Oberlin to be anything but bad. Went there to watch Perkins open the '00 campaign with them on the heels of the State Championship season. Oberlin (they were still the "Oberlin Indians" then) was held to single digits, if anything at all, while the Pirates' tally looked like a basketball score. I haven't heard a peep about them since then. It seems contagious, too, as Oberlin College regularly gets walloped by the likes of Ohio Wesleyan, DePauw, and Wooster.
