I attended the Clearview vs Highland game last night. My friend's younger brother is a junior on the team, so he helped give me the scoop.
The junior class is the talented group with Clearview. Most key positions are juniors with the exception of the runningback, a senior. Clearview doesn't have a fantastic run game. They benefited from the lack of size that Highland was bringing. The QB made all his best passes when he was scrambling. The WRs are capable. Special teams for Clearview is a very exploitable weakness. They flubbed a punt into a turnover and Highland got a lot of yardage off of kickoffs.
Definitely a different culture up there in terms of fandom. Highland's fans were much louder despite having a smaller crowd (both crowds were meh). Don't expect a big crowd to next game either would be my bet.

Regional Finals if St. Mary's gets there. I would lean towards St. Mary's in that one. But I'll go with Clear Fork this week 27 - 13.

St. Mary’s put 55 on Van Wert tonight (55-20), so you have to think they are favorites in the Regional Final, but rooting for the Colts!
Game in Findlay? Maybe Harding?

The location of this game is key but I would hope the OHSAA would also look for maximum seating since this game could be fill some seats.

Maybe they cannot get the workers. Maybe they like Friday but not Saturday hosting. Maybe they were not considered since Clear Fork played there. Take your pick but the game is being played in Bellefontaine. |

Too bad the game is not at Harding. I probably would have gone, but Belfontain is a little too far that I want to drive.
