Well that was microcosm for the season Ge the win but make it as freaking frustrating as possible playcaling and clock management in the 4th quarter was absolutely abysmal Why we abandoned an effective running game in the 4th qtr. with a comfortable lead and the clock as our best friend, bewilders me. Day likes to throw the ball.

What sound football minds knew on Dec. 2nd 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Georgia 4. Ohio State . . . . . 5. Oklahoma with the worst defense in the history of P5 football (great offense, but terrible defense) . . . . . 6. Notre Dame After Texas' nice win over UGA, I am even more comfortable Boomer Sooner was a solid choice.

We can agree to disagree on Oklahoma. I think their defense was so terrible that they would never beat any of my top 4. Texas played D all year but was hit or miss on offense. They played great D last night vs Georgia. Oklahoma didn't play defense once this year and would have given up 40+ to Georgia last night, probably score 35 and lose.

Baker Mayfield is holding for you on Line 2. Something about wanting to plant the OU flag in your backyard.

I don't have to apologize for anything; the results speak for themselves.

which results would those be? the results of UM getting curbstomped by OSU or the result of OKL being 0-2 in the CFP?
i actually don't have a prob with OKL making the playoffs, but ND was a joke

What we now know, Ohio State certainly belonged in the final four. None of us or the selection committee is clairvoyant, unfortunately.

I guess you have to ask yourself was it better to end the season with a win in the Rose Bowl or likely lose to Clemson or Bama?

We can all **** and moan about who they chose to put in the final four, but honestly, Oklahoma showed up. They were down to Bama, but in the end, their offensive production was still there. Not enough defense to keep Bama from scoring, but Bama wasn’t stopping Oklahoma either. On another night, who knows?? Urban got a bucket list in the Rose Bowl, left a winner in the Granddaddy of them all, and left a legacy for future Buckeye coaches. I think the future in bright for Coach Day...

i think OKL was deserving of a playoff bid, they were a good team and their only loss was to a good TEX squad
good ending for OSU anyway
i just hate that ND got in with a cherry picked schedule and they could (and should) have played CLEM in the ACC Final, not the National Semis

That's fair regarding Clemson-Golden Domers. Still Kool with Okie.
