Perkins won last year 42-16. Bellevue leads the all time series 22-10-1.
The home team has won 7 of the 8 games since this series restarted in 2008. This used to be a week 1 matchup, but was moved to week 2 to accommodate the Sandusky/Perkins week 1 Thursday night game.

Bellevue is just normal Bellevue. The Perkins ship is a drift without Quisno. Might be a reoccurrence of week one for both teams.

Last week the Titanic (Perkins) hit the iceberg. This week it will split in half and start to sink to the bottom.

Last week the Titanic (Perkins) hit the iceberg. This week it will split in half and start to sink to the bottom. You realize it is only Week 2 right? Perkins fans love when they're winning but soon as they lose a game then its all bad.

Had the privilege to witness last week's Perkins game and Bellevue's game.
My unsophisticated eye tells me this game will end in similar fashion as last weeks games for these two teams.

Bellevue with the win. I find it funny how many people think that losing an assistant coach is the reason for Perkins down fall. It's the players folks. The injuries hit at the end of last season and what happened? They lost their last 2 games with said coach on the sidelines

No one said injuries cannot effect the outcome of a game. I just believe losing over 20 years of experience running the Wing-T from a hall of fame coach is also a factor. A calming influence on the sidelines is never a bad thing. No injuries in the Sandusky game and it wasn't even close.

Perkins is down on talent this year. I know it can't be changed now, but this year's team is not built for the wing-t offense. Not giving up on the team yet, but unless something changes, it's gonna be a down year. But, hey, injuries, kids stepping up, players coming out of nowhere...........that's why they play the game, as they say. Anything can happen. Perkins has had some "history" with Bellevue the last few years. Maybe that will motivate them. We'll see. I say Bellevue by at least 14.

I was at work when I snuck a peek at the score update. Don't remember the time, but it was 21-16 Perkins, and I thought my eyes were on the fritz.

Congrats, Pirates! This looked like it had the makings of a blowout. Beating Bellevue at home was a Herculean task. Especially after looking terrible the first game against Sandusky. Congrats also to Bellevue. Hard fought, never give up, clean hitting football game. This is turning into a nice rivalry. Great atmosphere, classy Bellevue fans, and great stadium. The Redmen will be a welcome addition to the SBC next year!

For all you Quisno lovers and Ziegler haters--what happened last night? Ziegler is not a Coaching genius but Quisno was given too much credit in past years.

Congratulations Pirates on surprising all of the NOSF community, Was Nasonti out coached by Ziegler's game plan (doubt it) ? Or was Bellevue thinking about playing Clyde (next week), and forgot about the task at hand.

Or maybe, Bellevue is not as good as everyone wants to think?

Perkins only returns 1 offensive starter. I think that was a factor last week. They started to find their way in the 2nd half last week. That certainly carried over this week.

I said last week after the Redmen beat Huron that the line play was weak at this point in season and i feel we could be in trouble if the boys dont grow up quick. I stand by that statement and have concerns of starting 1-2 again this year.
