Not having the other jumper (one of the top in the state) on the team sure hurts. Between HJ and hurdles he probably gets you the points needed.

There may be some wildcard spots awarded to some athletes that were not top 4 if there time, height or distance qualified. If you know of any please post.
I did find out Shelby's Grant Gossom's time in the 200M got him a spot at state as a wild card.

The Maurer sisters appeared to be adversely affected by the humid weather, as neither had times close to what they had at the District meet.
Keandre "Slim" Marlow is an interesting story. He never ran the 110 Highs before this year and won the Regional Title. He had never run the 300 Lows until the week before the league meet and finished 4th in that event.
MOAC was well represented - Shelby boys running away with the Regional Title, Galion 5th and Ontario 11th. On the girls side Galion finished 3rd, Ontario 5th and Shelby 7th

Will Brown Shelby attempt to double at the State meet next week? This does not go well for most runners. Even in D2 this is a tall task. A 9:05 is better than any 1600 he’s run hopefully he goes for the 3200 imo... Shelbycc???

How often is it a school has two runners doubling in the 3200 and the 1600? Let alone two that will score possibly over 30 points combined?

How often is it a school has two runners doubling in the 3200 and the 1600? Let alone two that will score possibly over 30 points combined? We really have 4-5 guys that could be the number one distance guy on most other schools. They just don’t get scene much with Brown on the team.
