6-8 320 OT Trey Laroux from Norwalk comitts to the Buckeyes. Micky Moretti will transform him into a beast.

Huge to get him back and committed again as the secondary and offensive linemen are probably the two biggest depth issues.

Ohio State picked up a big commit today in Julian Fleming, the #1 ranked WR in the country. That makes two years in a row Ohio state has got the top ranked WR.
Also visiting this weekend is one of the top RB’s in Kendall Milton. Going to be a tough battle for him between us, Bama, and Clemson.

Brian Hartline is proving to be the best WR recruiter in the country. The future at WR for the Buckeyes exceeds comprehension. Envision 5* Garret Wilson and 5* Julian Fleming on the same field, with 4* Gee Scott Jr., 4* Jaxon Smith-Njigba, 4* Jameson Williams and 3* Chris Olave. A scary assemblage of insane talent!

I'm excited about the WR future for sure. Two things have to happen for those WR's to thrive, and at this point they are unknown. One-we have to be able to protect the QB. We have some new guys who have to prove they can do it. Two-if protected, our new QB needs to be able to put the ball on the money. We were certainly spoiled with Haskins last season in that department.

Despite all his ballyhooed credentials and great natural talent, Justin Fields still has to prove his strong arm has the necessary accuracy, to compliment the wealth of talent that will be on the receiving end. Two QB's that will be challenging Fields in the coming years class of '20 Jack Miller pro style QB, that can sling it with accuracy and another pro style QB that also is a pass first guy in Kyle McCord in '21. There is great young talent on the OL, that will benefit initially from having a mobile, dual threat QB, but as the collection of 5* OL gain game experience, they will be ready for a pro style pocket passer to step in.

It's the difference between proven college skill and prospective college skill.

I think Fleming has the highest composite score of any recruit the Buckeyes have ever gotten. Not counting Fields, who was a transfer.

Same thing was uttered about Garret Wilson, just a few short months ago. He was the highest rated Ohio State recruit since 247 began their composite ratings. <iframe width="22.75999999999999" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 22.75999999999999px; height: 2.9200000000000017px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT2_42025682" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.75999999999999" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 22.76px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1079px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT2_64074814" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.75999999999999" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 22.76px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 87px;" id="MoatPxIOPT2_57056133" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.75999999999999" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 22.76px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1079px; top: 87px;" id="MoatPxIOPT2_33693580" scrolling="no"></iframe> The wide-outs have set the ceiling at record heights.

Remaining 2019 Buckeyes showing up today to join the early enrolled players. Cade Stover's dad looks in playing shape and ready to suit up. A good looking group of freshmen. The best part is, Ohio State has been recruiting athletes with high academic standards. Kids with sharp minds, that are quick learners, with high standards of conduct and ideals.

Dummies can't get into OSU anymore. Hell the average ACT score is like 30.
