Willard CC District Final then Made the drive over to Findlay this morning to watch the Flashes play 3 games. First 2 games were a continuation of yesterday's games which is kinda like pool play in AAU. Willard won both of those games rather easily, against Ashland and Paulding. Willard finished "pool play" 4-2, with 2 additional wins on Friday against Upper Sciota Valley and Carrolton, and 2 losses against Cincinnati Christian, and St. Joseph (MI). They were seeded in the Silver bracket with 7 other teams for tournament play. We lost in the first round of bracket play against another team from Michigan. I was surprised to see how "short handed" we were today in the 3 games. Cooper at CMU for a football workout, Addelman left after 1st game for baseball commitment, Dawson out with Injury. I was more surprised how competetive we were being "short handed"......2 probable starters and 1 maybe starter/6th man. They played with alot of energy and effort, ball movement was very good, defensive effort was very good. For all 3 games we had only 1 senior on the court, with a bunch of sophmores and juniors filling their roles. It was fun to watch, and the future is bright.

Was the team you lost to in tournament play from Dexter MI which had gone 2-4 before that game? That is correct, Dude. Please enlighten me why that is relevant to my posts? They beat Lexington and Kings ( not sure who they are), and lost 4 others, all close games to formidable opponents. You just looking to stir $hit up again?

You have no clue how this camp is structured, no clue how coaches rate their teams when registering, no clue how the camp organizers decide which teams play each other during "pool play", which teams are placed in the various brackets and why they are placed there. Records are a small piece of the evaluation. You only posted to stir $hit up..... FACT! Own it for once.

I own that I know the Findlay coaches and have been to the 4 sessions this year to know how teams are rated and how teams are placed in brackets. Coach Ernst does a nice job putting pool play together and Coach Shardo does a nice job with the brackets. Dexter was a nice team that played hard BUt many of the coaches give misleading rankings of their own teams to benefit their record. This can be exploited in the tournament when you are placed based on play. If you don't believe me ask Coach Ernst and Shardo.

Ashland played well against smaller schools in pool play and was beat convincingly in their first game of tournament by a D4 team. USV is a small school that looked good in the small school play just like Willard did in their play. Carrollton played well against smaller schools and beat a same size Bellevue which was missing some football guys.

I know a snake in the grass when I see one, I spotted you a long time ago. Its healthy to eat a $hit sandwich every now and then, even you, it keeps us humble. You should try it, you would be much more respected and tolerable. Fact, you were just looking to stir $hit up.

I'm just questioning your motive for posting it, and none of Willards other opponents records. It's obvious your intent was to belittle Willards camp performance by pointing out we lost to a team in bracket play with a 2-4 record.

USV 4-2 Cin Hills 6-0 Carollton 3-3 St Joe 4-2 Paulding 2-4 Ashland 4-3 Dexter 2-4
Obvious? Because I posted a teams record. Belittle a team? They had a good weekend and went 4-3 playing well. I only provide more information about a final game I saw that you could only say was a team from Michigan and did not even post the name. Although you did know it.

Take a nap if you are tired. I never questioned anyone's knowledge. All I did was post a teams name and their record. I assumed he did not know it since he posted another team from Michigan that , as you claim, nobody else ever heard, but then found out he did know the name.

Just to prove this is typical of poking in the eye with your stick game. Since you claim you were just helping out by informing us that "the team from Michigan" was Dexter. Why in the F did you also give their record?? Other than to be who you are. Which does not look good and is not respected.

Paxton led the Flashes in scoring on Saturday with Parrot being out.

I thought the Mock kid played varsity last year. Good to hear about the paxton kid, need a 4-5th scorer with kids graduating. I think he'll have to average 10-12 this year for them to have some success. if Parrot averaged 22-23, Baldridge 18-19, Myles 14-15, and player 4 and 5, 10 each that would add up to a lot of wins. I'm sticking with my 14 wins because I'm not sure the 3-5 can average that night in and night out.

Mock did play with the Varsity this weekend in Findlay. He gave good minutes, didnt score much, didnt make many mistakes, wasnt very aggressive...I guess Weiss, Cok, and Meisner have been more aggressive that's why they stand out more.
