Did anyone make it to the scrimmage this morning against Highland?

Was there for our first 2 offensive and defensive series. Our skill position players looked sharp we could more or less score at will through the air our running game needs some work. Our defense was less atrocious than last season but needs a bunch of work still.

Thanks for the info. I was planning on going and some family responsibilities cropped up. I read on Facebook that Galion “won.” The real test will be at Tiffin on Thursday. I bet they are better than anyone on the regular season schedule.

Tiffin Columbian 21 Galion 0 in the varsity half of the scrimmage. Tiffin definitely much bigger, stronger, and faster than Galion.
Offense did move the ball against Tiffin but couldn’t finish any drives. Galion missed a 40 or so yard field goal.
Defense looked much like last year. Way too many big plays and Tiffin really blew them off the ball.
Tiffin will be the best team we see this year. I see potential but boy the defense still scares me.

21-0 isn’t really that bad considering that fact that Tiffin is better then any team in your conference.

Lost 21-0, if it was a full game, Galion would have lost 45-0. Galion can't compete with good teams. I looked at their schedule and it's non conference is a joke. They will definitely go 3-0, I see them going 7-3 and probably playing Clyde or Ottawa-Glandof in the first round then getting throttled by 35.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here, Nobody had any delusions that we were on TC's level going into this. I'd be happy with a 7-3 season and a playoff berth.
