Have these two schools ever played before?

I like Sandusky with or without Terion in this one. That defensive line is going to be a handful to deal with.

Sandusky scrimmages Toledo St. Francis tonight at home.
I think Sandusky is being somewhat undervalued coming into this season. A ton of talent returning but the schedule is tougher. Anytime you have a talent like Stewart you’re going to have a chance. If the defense is solid and QB play improved, they will be a tough out each week.
I don’t want to call week 1 a must win but the way the schedule stacks up, I think it’s a crucial game.

One things for sure by the time they get to the Lake schedule their will be no one better prepared for it.

Sandusky- 14 Toledo St.Francis-0
Sandusky held a pretty decent St.Francis team to two first downs. A lot to work on for Sandusky but anytime you get it done against a quality opponent without your star player it’s a good night.
The Bumphis kid from St.Francis that’s headed to Cincinnati can fly. He’s going to be a good one for the bearcats.

St. Francis is 9-41 the last 5 years. These aren't your ma and pa's Knights anymore when stating "quality" program.

I really liked what I saw from the sophomore running back Williams. Once Stewart is back, I think he will really explode on the scene as teams will key on Stewart and leave open running lanes for him who might be just as fast as Stewart. Defense line is a strength for Sandusky. They will be tested next week, as Parma has a real good qb and rb. It might be a shoot out but I have a feeling Parma might pull it off especially if Stewart is not in the back field.

Streaks win a close one. I think the Blue Streak D, not Stewart will be the major storyline from this game, IMO

Padua has a solid group of skill position players. I believe the QB is only sophomore who started last year as well. Stewart playing is obviously an important factor. If Stewart doesn’t play, Sandusky would have to dominate the line of scrimmage. Which is possible....

Exciting game to say the least. Will be interested to see how Padua fares the rest of the year.

Well, it was nice to see some other people step up and make plays besides Stewart. He definitely is not 100 percent, maybe 60. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sits out against Springfield. The emergence of Aaron as a runner makes it more difficult to defend. also, impressed by Caston and Lewis at receivers. This was a gut check win and the streaks responded.
