But everyone on here knows that lex would never join the moac unless the occ disbanded and it was literally their only option. But keep playing your game if it makes you feel better. Also, just out of curiosity who would you plan on replacing pleasant and evening with if they did join because I promise you that they would leave if they did |

No, you're among a very small minority that thinks that. 99% of those on here know for a certainty that Lex applied for admission to the MOAC and they were turned down. Do schools usually apply for admission if "they would never join the MOAC unless the OCC disbanded"?? Ask Dude.
Pleasant isn't scared like Galion is. Tell us, where would Pleasant go? People said Pleasant would leave if Ontario joined. People said they would leave if Shelby joined. They're still here.

You act as if Galion was the only no vote. If those other teams I mentioned were fine with lex joining then why didn’t they vote yes like they did for cf Shelby and Ontario

At the time of Lex's "interest" in the MOAC both Wooster and Madison(and possibly Senior depending on who you talk to) were exploring other options. Lex was just looking for a place to land in case any of them actually left. They don't actually WANT to be part of the MOAC. It was a break glass in case of emergency situation. But if it makes you feel better to insinuate that we are P*****s or whatever have at it. For those of you who have such a hard on for Lex there is still an opening in the OCC if you really want to be in a conference with them so badly yet none of you seem to be jumping at the opportunity. Seems like what you're really doing is hiding behind Galion and talking tough since you know that there is no actual danger of them getting into the conference. |

But you are justifying not playing a school with history that is 14 miles away but has no problem traveling to a school almost 30 miles away. |

I can clear up some of your misinformed areas. Wooster and Ashland were pushing to add Dover and New Philly to the OCC. Lex wanted no part of both. They were okay with either to make the 8th team but not adding both to go to 9. Problem is they were a package. Madison was not going anywhere. Mansfield was okay with the addition because they fear being left out and not having a league. West Holmes had similar feelings as Mansfield but did not want to play the 2 new schools on a regular schedule so dividing into divisions was also in the plan. Mt Vernon just wants to be in a league of 8 or more for scheduling. Lex had serious interest in the MOAC as a more local league of schools they have or had rivalries with in many sports and would supply great ticket sales for events. When Lex showed said they would leave so both schools could be added and make a league of 8, they other schools backed off because they did not want Lex to leave. They provide competition in every sport and not just one or two like other schools do. Go ahead and pull your shoulders back and puff your chest but Galion's schedule says the truth. In Football their non league are all smaller schools. IN Basketball 9 of the 10 non league games are smaller schools. It's kind of obvious what they are looking to do. Now does that make you p*****s is something you have to decide. |
