On to Week 3 we go and the 1-1 Upper Sandusky Rams come to Heise Park to take on the 2-0 Galion Tigers. This is Upper’s first trip to Galion since 2014. The Rams defeated Mt. Gilead 41-21 last week while Galion defeated Carey 35-6 last week. Galion defeated Upper 34-0 last year and has defeated Upper the last 8 meetings. Upper’s last win came in 2008 in Galion. Thoughts on this one.....

Galion rolls again in this one. It will be a final tuneup for league play next week.

I think this will be closer than some people think, but Galion still prevails 28 - 17.

Unfortunately Upper is very down right now. Would e been a running clock the whole second half. Galion has no trouble at all moving the ball at will. Upper only had 2 or 3 first downs.

I was there at the game. Galion' s kickoff went into the end zone practically every time. That impressed me. The aerial attack was impressive as was the running game. Of course, the competition was not much to speak of, if at all...….. |
