Yes the Tigers should be able to win this one more comfortably than recent weeks. Looks like dry weather. Hoping the offense gets back on track!

Don't want to get too far ahead but looking at the playoff picture Galion is #1 in Region 14 the rest are 2 Wauseon, 3 Keystone, 4 Ottawa-Glandorf, 5 Clear Fork, 6 Bellevue, 7 Northwest, and 8 Clyde. With Edison, Shelby, Rossford, Lutheran West in the mix. According to Drew Pasteur Galion's likely first round opponent
Wauseon-14% NWOAL Ottawa-Glandorf-13% WBL Clear Fork-12% MOAC Clyde-10% SBC Lake(Large Schools) Northwest-10% PAC
Thoughts? Who do you think Galion will play? Who should Galion avoid in the first round?

At this point for me what I want to see is Galion win out. Don’t overlook Pleasant. They are usually decent and well coached. A win there most likely gets us a home game which is what I really want.
Pasteur has Galion at a 99+% chance to make the playoffs right now. It’s 100% with a win over Ontario. I think driving to Ottawa Glandorf or Wauseon would be a tough draw, so winning out is essential in my book. Any of the teams would be tough, but rather be at home.

Honestly we just need to come out of these next 2 games healthy. I’m not sure what to think about pleasant until after tonight. They played Shelby tough for 3 quarters but the Harding gave baffles me. I still can’t figure out how cf ever lost to rv either. It’s been a weird season.

It has been a weird season. And excellent point. The most important thing right now is to stay as healthy as possible.

I guess Galion was looking ahead of Ontario and KIPP if they are playing this horrible. They have not looked sharp at all

Galion looked sloppy nearly the entire first half. Good thing there aren’t any style points. A win is a win and Region 14 Should be interesting with Clear Fork, Shelby, Bellevue, and Wauseon all losing. Should be an interesting last 2 weeks!!

But Canal Fulton, Edison & Clyde lost as well.

So what you are saying is that Galion is glad they are losing so Galion won't have to play them, Galion is lucky that they don't have to play Patrick Henry, LCC, Tiffin, Sandusky or even Norwalk because if they did they would lose all of those games. I just hope Galion doesn't play Clyde or Bellevue because it would be a running clock at the start of the second half. This Galion team reminds me of the '09 group and lost to Eastwood 36-0 because of the conference they played in.

Good win for the Tigers. However, beware of Pleasant. I have seen them many times over the years. They will come ready to play. Galion will have to play their best ball to beat Pleasant

First tc Sandusky and Norwalk are d3 so we wouldn’t have to play them. Second we could compete with lcc and ph as well as Shelby did. Third, in case you were not paying attention cf beat Bellevue this season and Clyde is no powerhouse this season. Trust me there are no teams in our region who are in any danger of winning the state championship. So if you are actually a Galion fan sit back and just enjoy the season if you are just a troll as I suspect then do some research.

We were due to come out a bit flat after last week but we we overcame it. Supposedly KIPP’s new stadium should be ready to open this week so that should be fun. And come on playing week 10 Pleasant for a piece of the title will be the most fun we’ve had in years. This is gonna be an awesome couple of weeks

First of all I know we wouldn't play those d3 schools on the playoffs I was saying in the regular season. If we were in the SBC Lake we would lose to at least three of those teams by 30, I mean look what happened to Galion when they played Tiffin in the preview game they were down 22-0 in one half of play. If you think Galion can handle all of these teams maybe instead of playing Upper, Carey and KIPP they should be playing these teams. Bellevue only lost to Tiffin by 2, Clyde's three losses were to St. Francis de Sales by 2, Tiffin in a thriller and Sandusky.

The divisions in the sbc are set up by size for the most part. We would clearly be in the bay. TC would likely beat us but let’s not pretend that we actually gameplanned for a scrimmage. Why do we need to schedule d3 teams when we play in a conference full of teams our size and larger? We I thought you proclaimed us d4 champions a week ago. Why the change of heart? Have you never heard of a letdown game? They happen quite a bit in high school after a physically and emotionally challenging game. I suppose that the teams that you played on in high school played at its highest level every week and won multiple state titles.

Why would a team be due to come out flat after they were flat the week before? Would not the coach be dealing with this during the week to make sure it did not happen 2 games in a row?

I just saw that Pasteur is predicting Clear Fork as the most probable week 11 opponent.
