well there was a big thump in the MAC tonight.both marion local and coldwater lost tonight.i wondered how long marion local and coldwater lost on the same night in the regular season.minster beat marion local 27-26 in ot and anna bombed coldwater 49-8. i knew anna was good but i didnt expect a 41 point beatdown of coldwater. now in the nwoal ,liberty center was upset by 2-5 bryan 35-30,patrick henry lost in ot to wauseon28-27 and archbold. so it will go down to week ten to decide the nwoal.

Winning this league outright is generally a harder task to achieve than winning a state championship.
Current standings:

3-5, 2-4 Fort Recovery
3-5, 2-4 Versailles

Decent chance of a 3 way share this year
Anna is in good shape to claim a share of the their 2nd ever MAC title (they shared it with Marion Local last year for their 1st)
Coldwater @ Marion Local week 10 will most likely be a game for a share of the title
Minster can also get a share if they win out, and their next door rival New Bremen is the biggest threat in their way

Anna and Minster didn't play in the regular season, but got a chance to sort out who is better last night. Anna answered that question with a 47-21 win.
In other MAC news, Coldwater lost to Archbold, which is their first week 11 loss in this century.

New Bremen knocks off LCC 28-26 and will advance to their 1st state title game.
The are one of only two MAC football schools that has not won a state title, the other being Parkway.
