On to week 10 we go and we should have a dandy here as 8-1 Galion travels to Pleasant to take on the 7-2 Spartans. The Tigers defeated KIPP Columbus 59-12 while Pleasant defeated Ontario 50-21 last week. Pleasant has won 4 of the 5 meetings between the schools since Galion entered the MOAC in 2014 including 44-21 last year. Galion’s win came in 2015. Thoughts on this one.......

Huge game for both, even though both will probably make the playoffs barring major upsets especially in Region 14. Whoever wins will definitely get a home playoff game while the loser will be playing on The road come week 11. Galion will be huge fans of Carey, Bucyrus, Upper, River Valley and Shelby to all win to ensure them a high playoff spot, while Pleasant will be rooting for Clear Fork, McComb, River Valley, and Ontario.
Some possible first round opponents for both
Galion
- Bellevue, Clear Fork, Shelby, Ottawa-Glandorf and Clyde
Marion Pleasant
- Liberty-Benton, Elyria Catholic, Beachwood, Northwood, Orrville

It will be close if Galion loses, it all depends on what Bellevue, OG do if both win and Galion loses, they are looking at the #5 seed. It also depends on how the teams Galion have beaten that could determine if they are home. Galion will be rooting for Bucyrus, Carey, Upper, River Valley and even Shelby to all win |

This game was disappointing. The defense couldn’t stop Pleasant when they needed to. However the last touchdown was a pick 6.

Pleasant and Galion were the only MOAC teams to be ranked in the top 8 of their regions from week 4 to the end of the season.

As of right now, it appears the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans will be traveling to Heise Park on Saturday night to face Galion. Calpreps predicts OG to defeat Galion 26-20 on a neutral field.
