Pleasant didn't beat Galion. Galion beat Galion. At least the Tigers still managed to gain a home playoff game over at Heise Park. Ottawa Glandorf managed to knock the Lady Tigers Volleyball team out of the tournament a couple of days ago. Maybe the Tigers can return the favor this next Friday night.

21 is literally the number listed in the stats for the paper. I was surprised that the refs weren't high fiving the Pleasant fans on their way off the field. That being said with any kind of competent defensive pass coverage we still win that game. With the exception of the last pass the the rb they literally only throw to one receiver, and we couldn't cover him. Ridiculous. And to top it off we now get to be taken out by the same school that just took out our volleyball team. How's that for irony?

I was definitely thinking about the officiating but wasn’t going to initially say it. That had to be one of the most one sided games as far as how it was being called that I’ve seen in awhile. Galion did not help themselves though. There were still several penalties that were more than legit. That go ahead touchdown you have it right on. As soon as I saw 6 line up in the slot I knew that was going to be trouble. I can’t believe they didn’t cover him. It was obvious what they were going to do. 9 wasn’t going to run it there.

Galion gave up 54 points...and it's the refs?

The Tigers beat 2 teams with winning records this season....one by one point thanks to two missed extra points and 2 tds called back by penalty. Tiger fans should be thankful for a home playoff game and 2nd place MOAC finish IMO. Good luck to all MOAC teams in the playoffs.

Galion gave up 54 points...and it's the refs? You’re right. It wasn’t the refs fault they gave up 54 points. Many of the penalties were good legit calls. In fact it was disappointing that they committed some of them. But the officiating wasn’t good either. That being said, the interesting thing imo is that I think they would’ve stayed in the 3 seed even if they pulled the game out so either way it didn’t matter much. I’m sorry to see Clear Fork miss out on the playoffs and will be rooting for Pleasant and Shelby in the playoffs. Shelby as long as they don’t play Galion lol.
