If you follow the posts on here from parents and fans of the Flashes they expected if not a blowout an easy win. Look at Willards early season games beating Upper then bouncing Norwalk by 20... The bottom line is they appear to be heading in downward trend. Let’s not say things like NSP is #1 for a reason if Willard was who the fan base thought they were this should be a double digit win. I think they are not the best team in the FC let alone the State... I think the unbelievable meltdown losing to an average D3 Margaretta team that is NOT on their level set them back. Hopefully for Flashes fans they get it back or they don’t win the Bay and fall short of BG...

I agree about one thing you said. How the heck did NSP get to be #1? Top 15 perhaps, but not #1 is my take. But you are mistaken if you think tons of folks felt it was going to be a blowout. That simply isn't true. I for one see a lot of challenging games left on the regular season schedule. But the good part,,none of them are D3. The tough games, should make us better for the Tournament. Hopefully,,,we can win the Bay on the way there. But I fully expect it won't easy. OH will be a load. At Huron will be a load,,at home to Shelby is another tough one. One night, one game at a time.

Our kids were sucking air and sp kids looked fresh.its only obvious they are in better shape. If everyone knew the game was going to be a Willard win then why were there so many people in the crowd? And why was the game so hyped up?

It did appear that SP was "scrappier" than Willard. Maybe that had something to do with conditioning, not sure. However, Addelman, Pinkston, and Dawson were diving for loose balls as often as anyone. Just seemed SP came up with the ball more often.

The whole year they have played 6 kids. So not a good point.

Regardless, Willard won, SP lost.....better team usually wins. On to OH.

As already stated, this is not correct. St. Paul did not sub one time. They sometimes go 6 or (super rarely) 7 deep, but not sub once against Willard.
I thought this was a 15-point win for Willard as did a couple others I talked to, but we also thought St. Paul was going to lose to Western Reserve and South Central.

I didn't think I saw sp sub.i thought for a minute I was the only one that caght that.we are out of shape.some of that is our starters haven't played in the fourth quarter a whole lot this year.going forward. Our studs have to play like studs in big games and it's not ALWAYS about points.its about great decisions, rebounding, diving on the floor, playing in your face defense and being someone when the team is in disarray to say don't worry guys.. we got this.go flashes

I do understand SP is not the best D4 team in the state and they got lucky by getting #1, but saying they are not even the best team in the FC? How, if the best team usually wins then that would make SP the best team in the FC right now, and saying that SP has better subs than Willard just was not a factual statement Bc not one of there starters for a blow the whole game. I think people on here should really think before they type Bc it makes ppl look stupid. I hope Willard has a good rest of the season Bc I am obviously an SP fan and if they just lose a hole bunch of games that would not make SP look any better, so I wish y’all luck and I’m sure y’all will go far in tourney. Go flashes and Go SP

Portwalk said “ I don’t know that they are even best in the FC” I would say WR and SC and NSP are very close. Those 3 games could literally go either way on a neutral floor.

I just looked at our stats from last night and I can't believe what I'm seeing.im thinking it's a misprint but a friend of mine said nope not a misprint.we had one kid put it up 26 times and our second leading scorer tied for the least amount with 7.unbelievable stat.what are we trying to achieve here?are we trying to get better as a team? I don't think so. If a team is playing a triangle and 2 put tb on the block with Cooper on the wing and trey in the corner.tb should be on the block a lot more than what he is in my opinion. Much more difficult to defend when you have an inside presence.im not taking anything away from Micah. Hell from what I was told Micah was the player of the game last night.put Micah at the 4. Has a nice shot and is physical. Put Myles back at the three.im not saying all the time but I would use them that way a lot.of course it's only my opinion which means squat but that's the way I see it.one more thing...we have to develope a bench. Coke and Weiss have to play some. Weiss is and all out kid and coke can shoot. We need these kids to get some time so we can rest some of our starters.tourney time right around the corner. We have to play team ball.
