see sports video by the results of the junior high tournament that your gave that means not much of a future upcoming which means that junior high on up will be reviewed plus comments by the edison community will also help the yearly review tell me sportsvideo if huron in the future only have 1 home win, what the huron community would say.but since huron reloads not rebuilds the future is good, but for edison it is what it is like you said in the junior high tournament.the future is not looking good and maybe coaching changes in the system could turn things around.like i say the past is the past, and we arein the current and forseeable future. at least we have the best wrestling team in the area and so are the academics which should always be first above sports.

You can’t turn a pile of crap into a chocolate cake. Edison has little talent and a coach is only as good as his talent. There would be very little interest from other people if they see the talent pool coming up.

Yearly community input? Good luck finding a coach that will put up with that.

im not saying that im saying huron and sandusky reloads they dont rebuild where edison has to rebuild.the talent is not there and it takes a long time after the last 2 years to get where you want to be.but if you stay statos quo then your bound to stay to losing for a long time.as far as community input i mean 3 or 4 people from the community or booster club to to talk with AD,the board of education and superintendent and give suggestions and then let the board,AD,or superintendent make the tough decision.how many total 30,40 or 50 pt blowouts especially at your home schools can you acceptand only 1 home win and thats the 1st game of season. if your a school that wins than you dont accept it.when you shoot 25% field goals and over 20 turnovers you lose.the coach has to put the boys in a better position to compete .when your outalented the coach should change game plans.like not to stall but use the holgate 4 corners offense take time off the clock no turnovers look for a great shot and dont shoot 3 pointers un less necessary. that will get you out of the game quickly. maybe nobody wants the job but still the administators must review before renewing or non renewing.most of you have good traditions edison dont have good tradition in basketball even back in firelands conference.i like to see how you like to go through the last 2 years of baskeball at edison and see if you like total blowouts especially at your home games and if you accept them, then i dont feel sorry for you.

I do accept them. because at the end of the day they're just kids. never once did i say the coach is the problem. the problem is easily identified. i was here when our girls won state in 1983..remember it like it was yesterday. 7-13 this season.. and we are a little excited.. why? they're all freshman and sophomores.. so we see the light at the end of the tunnel .. stop blaming the coach.. that is not the problem...

Smitty1974 for whatever reason believes that the Edison basketball program should not have down years. I can appreciate his passion for Edison athletics but I can’t get over his analysis of needing a new coach. That’s what happens to people who are passionate but “out of the know” when it comes to that sport. Smithy wants there basketball program to be like there wrestling program but that just is not going to happen for them but heck for any other wrestling program in the area. Edison basketball isn’t going to recruit players and they don’t have the benefit of the barn like the wrestling program does where many of the best young wrestlers in the state workout.

Willard and Oak Harbor both control their own destiny for a share of the Bay title. Huron is mathematically alive, but needs both of them to lose as game.
Willard...............7-2, 19-2 Oak Harbor.........6-2, 15-3 Huron................6-3, 14-4 Margaretta.........4-5, 11-10 Port Clinton........3-6, 5-16 Edison...............0-8, 4-16
2/21 Huron at Edison Margaretta @ Willard Port Clinton at Oak Harbor
2/22 Edison @ Oak Harbor

Port Clinton's tournament win last night over Clyde was it's first since the 2009-2010 state semifinal win over Zanesville. It was the first time PC has scored more than 51 points in a tournament game since the 66-55 regional final win that year over Celina.

I think it was a rough ending for Clyde and their team. They have fought injuries all year and with the recent passing of their assistant coach and on top of that playing 23 games in 65 days lead to the snowball affect towards the end of the year. Congratulations to PC tho, coach Hicks has the program pointing in the right direction.
