I just read on Rivals a super interesting tidbit on how Greg Mattison came to OSU. Essentially a difference in philosophy with he and Don Brown brought OSU two of Michigans best coaches,,Mattison and Washington.

Nuts Ohio state has 3 finalists for Heisman trophy .Dobbins, chase young ,justin fields .Dobbins is best rb in country and Burrows was a Buckeye haha Burrows was groomed and and schooled in the Buckeye system, virtually packaged and ready to go, for the Tigers. The other plus was, his quick adaption to a new system and playbook. He's their gift that keeps on giving.

I'm thinking, had not Justin Fields entered the picture, he would have flourished as significantly as an OSU starting QB, as we are seeing at LSU. LSU should receive some credit for his development, but the lion share is with his former Buckeye coaches, especially coach Day. LSU was given the keys to a Ferrari.....lol I'm like you, don't really want to root against him, as I have been a big Burrows cheerleader all season and so happy for him. BTW, although he is at LSU, Joe Burrow is undoubtedly, a very positive recruiting tool for the Buckeye coaching staff.
