Chad Long was hired same year and has a 14-26 record at Ross. Next year will be his 5th season, already halfway to Derek Kidwell’s tenure and doesn’t have half the accolades Kidwell had at this point.

Sounds like chad is getting benefit of doubt shadow,graduation,injuries etc and will probably be back.My patience for him is dwindling but it is what it is.If he doesn't get these youngsters coming up we keep hearing to play at high level next 2 to 3 years than he should go.
When kidwell came in in 04.Central was good but not dominating, whitmer and jj fought remember him ,he was whitmers qb well whitmer beat central in 04.We beat whitmer in scrimmage. We went 4 and 6 in 04 .In 05 opelts sr year we beat TCC going 5 and 5..central only loss in 05 was us.
I think right now the way trac is derek would struggle .In 2011 first year in trac Derek was 5 and 5 missed playoffs ,2012 was injury rattled we went 3 and 7.2013 kidwells final year we went 5 and 5 but started horrendously slow losing to clyde bad in scrimnage.Kidwell was 13 and 17 in 3 years of trac .
