Thought something was imminent when they called a special "Executive Session" board meeting for tonight. Regular board meeting will be Monday night so I guess they decided to get this out of the way first.

I wonder if the executive session was discuss non-renewal then he decided to just resign? An executive session isn't common for these types of things otherwise, IMO.

Two playoff appearances in 14 seasons and an 0-2 record in those two appearances. Findlay will probably improve from this. Agree 100% Findlay dropped off a lot after Hite left. This is a good job to land with the facilities and potential here. |

Here's an easy quiz. I'm thinking of a coach who was successful at an NCC school and is now successful at a WBL school. Don't know if he would be interested but it seems like a logical move, to me at least.

The question is...Does he want to "move" again? He's not getting any younger, my guess he's north of 50. THAT and his only head coaching jobs he took over solid programs. He's never had the issue of having to build something from nothing. Do you want to do that when you're getting close to retirement age for a coach/teacher?

FWIW, I found a bio on him and it said he graduated from high school in 1995 which would put him at about 43 years old. |

That would be a big mistake. He hasn't done anything as a coach, Fostoria average 2 or 3 wins a year since he's been there. Or did you mean Dick Kidwell? |

Dick is like 90 now 😋. Someone mentioned Kidwell leaving Fostoria so I wouldn't be surprised if he applies.
