The SBC Bay will be a battle however Margaretta, Willard and Huron IMO...
The FC will be strong again with the same 3 teams at the top however NSP may be the best
The N10 will be Upper, CC and then everybody else.
The MOAC will have 2 of the areas best D2 schools with Shelby and Ontario next season

Hello??? Senior will back. 6-6 center will get better. 3 sophomores gained valuable varsity time and hopefully point guard gets a little smarter about game situations. If the 6-4 kid from Ontario can get eligible...…

Senior loses 3 important Seniors. That's why the Ontario kid is now at Mansfield. He wasn't going to be eligible at Ontario. Hopefully he gets his act together. This year Senior had by far the weakest JV team I've ever seen them have.
The other OCC team in this District unmentioned by port, is Lexington. They lose 6 Seniors, 5 starters and the 6th was a 6-5 stout back up post that played a lot. Last year those players were Juniors and didn't get a lot of playing time, but worked very hard in the off season. This year Lex had only 1 Junior on their roster. They have some talented Freshmen. They will be inexperienced again next year, but very young.

Upper loses 6 Seniors from this years team, 4 of them talented guards. They only have 2 Juniors on their roster this year, but both have played well in the tournament. They will be much younger next year. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the kid that tore up his knew will be a Junior next year? Hopefully he'll be back and healthy at the start of next season.

Shelby loses five seniors, two of which started. But a strong JV team with many good sophomores will help replace those lost. Team will revolve around Pugh and to a lesser degree Lantz. Will need some of those sophomores to step up, especially a good ball handling PG.

Hiatt who provided some nice things off the varsity bench. Holloway returning sophomore big man number 40 and Roberts and hill from JV.

Seemed at the end of the year that Hill was getting those minutes over him though.

Ontario only loses one senior of any worth. Returns 4 starters and a 6-4 kid off the bench that got around 15 minutes/game. Of those 5 lettermen, 4 will be Seniors next year. Led by First Team All-District Shaver who has started since a Freshman. At the other guard, Kurtz has started since a Soph. Hopefully more quality depth next year from a 20-2 JV team that lost 2 close road games. They beat Shelby and Harding twice as well as Norwalk, Senior, Lex, Ashland and Madison.
IMO, next year will be Balogh's last season, regardless if he gets 600 wins or not.

I guess I'm not that high on Norwalk as some have indicated. If someone out of the blue consistently step up like I thought Obringer did this season, then perhaps.

JMO, but I think it will be hard for the top 2 in the Lake and the top 3 in the Bay to be better than this year.

Speaking of the future are their any incoming freshman next year that have a chance of getting varsity minutes for any of the local teams.

Next year is way off but two all league players coming back including one of the best bigs in the area (double-double machine) and a PG that was night and day game on until the last. Add in another 6’4 experienced player that dropped 13 in the district semi. Then traczeck and Mozina with more playing time at the varsity level and I’ve not even gone into a 13-9 JV or 19-1 Frosh team yet. Need to find scoring however they will be fine...

I like the Minor kid, the Shope kid, and the shooter (Daniel something?) kid. Nobody is gonna out hustle the Bauman kid either. All juniors next year. I think Norwalk and Tiffin are top 2 in the Lake, followed closely by Clyde.

So there’s Chapin, Minor, Trascek (Daniel) with Will G and Mozina then the Frosh mentioned (big), Shope and others... Not gonna be world beaters but I’ll start with a big and a guard

Even with that advantage, it will be a tall order to win that one.

The twins are probably wishing they were at upper right now. SP just gets out coached come tournament time. Talent can only do so much. However I doubt they end up at Upper.

I'm not much of a basketball guy, but I know TC has a really good group of players coming up who didn't lose a game in Junior high. Specifically I've heard of these twins that are taller than 6 foot already that could see some time next year.
