Musa Jallow plays hard but if Ahrens keeps shooting the way he is, Jallow’s minutes are going to keep going down as we have seen lately. He brings no offense and his jump shot is flat out ugly. Right after he came into the game he badly missed a 3-pointer from the corner. He was taken out. When a coach puts a below average shooter in the game for defensive purposes, the last thing he wants to see is him chucking up a 3-pointer.

Good win over Wisconsin. Had a pretty controlling lead and almost blew it down the stretch but hit their free throws to hang on. Liddell with another solid game. Ahrens continuing to shoot well and gaining confidence.

That's been the pattern as of late. This time didnt fold. Real nice win but whisky didnt shoot well primarily because of a solid defensive team effort

Ohio State switched everything, giving Wisconsin's bigs mismatches in the post. Wisky's guards chose to continue to miss 3-pointers instead of getting it in the post for much easier shots.

Potter would have been a valuable part of this team, had he stayed. Good to see he had an off day shooting. After witnessing the Purdue 2nd half blowup, good to see the Bucks getting penetration and upping the tempo. The last half of the Purdue game was hard to watch, with the pass, pass, pass, pass, pass and a hurried or forced shot to beat the buzzer. Today's game is the better approach, instead of living and dying by the three.

Bucks actually quite deep with the exception of big men. CJ looked pretty decent and in control in his 1st game back. Towns getting better and better. Still not 100% healthy even by his own admission. But he can shoot and be a leader on the floor while his body gets used to more minutes. This team could be a force in the tourney if things break the right way.

Tonights game against PSU is a very winnable game. Would love to see the Bucks just step up and blow someone out in the B1G

Holtmann does covet "old" players.

I’d love for Young to come back another year if he’s able to. We would really only have two bigs next year without him (Liddell and Key). And no bigs in the incoming class so if he would leave we may have to look for a grad transfer big man.

What an ugly win. But a win is a win. Way too many fouls called by the refs. Let them play just a little. Geesh.
I think we are actually better without Walker. Just my feeling but when he's on the court it feels like the ball sticks too much and he's constantly trying to look to drive to the hoop.
Holtmann made a good move toward the end of the game by putting Jallow in. He played great defense down the stretch. His minutes will stay down with the way Ahrens is shooting but his defense comes in big in these situations. Jallow did that in the Rutgers game too.

Walker’s never met a ball he hasn’t dribbled to death.

Vs MSU..... Another 2nd half of the Walker dribble show.... reminds me of cavs standing around watching lbj dribble then throw up a shot

Man this one was a rough one to watch with all the whistles. A lot of ticky tack fouls called both ways. Wasn’t much of a flow in the second half because of it.
Liddell with another solid game. Jallow got some more minutes this game, including in the first half.

Toughest game of the year coming up against Iowa next. Even though they lost to Illinois the other day, still a tough team. It’ll be interesting to see how they guard Garza.

OSU can score in a number of ways. I agree at Iowa will be tough though.

Iowa has 2 6-11s a 6-9 and a 6-8 in their rotation. Is Ohio Sate playing anyone who is really 6-8?

Huge match up problem for the bucks thursday night but will be a great pre-tournament test. If ahrens can drain a few 3s and draw some of the tall timber outside, could be interesting

What's interesting about Potter, one of the reasons he said he left was that Ohio State wanted him to play in the post, he wanted to play a forward. Where is he playing for Wisconsin?

Ohio State moves to #7 in the latest AP poll. While I definitely think this team is very good, I’m unsure of the 7th best team in the country but hey I’ll take it. This team can be so fun to watch at times but also so frustrating. The Iowa game will tell us a lot about this team.

10th in Pomeroy rankings and 11th in RPI. RPI rankings are very interesting with Houston at 1 and St Bonaventure at 9

Got it, I was confused, I thought you were referring to a current team member.
Last I heard or read was that he was going to try overseas.

Wow what a win. Got down 11 in the second half and eventually went up 7 late in the game. The turning point was Ahrens coming in and knocking down 3 threes late in the second half.

That was the best and most entertaining game iv’e seen all year. Both teams showed me final 4 potential. Bucks got big contributions from multiple players. Defense on Garza was solid.

On another note.... is it possible michigan will stay on covid lockdown so they can be Big Ten champs? How will the conference handle this if they don’t play all there games?
