I’m more interested in this game than I should be in terms of matchups. Edison produces solid teams every year. Sandusky has a lot to prove, especially on D. The past few seasons it seems like they’ve struggled against ground and pound style of offenses. If Sanduskys offense sputters Edison could find a path to victory. However Edison can’t win a shoot out

^^^it seems because of Herbstreit's favorite word, physicality. In this case, lack of from defensive side.

Sandusky has all the pressure on them, if they win, it’s because they are suppose too, if they lose, it’s an upset, but I will not be surprised if Edison wins because they will be the more disciplined team. However, Edison has struggled with turnovers which is something they can’t do. If they control the ball and ground and pound like I know they can, they can win as they have more experience than the streaks. The defense will struggle this year for Sandusky and they don’t have much depth. It might come down to speed and Edison trying to keep up

Sandusky has a lot of talent on the field but idk if they can sustain that with as tough of a schedule as they play.

In my experience the national anthem usually gets played before both teams come out.

In my experience the national anthem usually gets played before both teams come out. That’s the way it ALWAYS WAS but some busy-body old men want something political at the games so they’re pushing for teams to be there. Band always played ending with national anthem before making a tunnel or at least playing their fight song for hyped teams to enter. You don’t go hyped on the field to suddenly stop, take off helmets and then hype back up - that makes no sense

About the last 20-25 years, Sandusky had some doozies when one scratches their head and wonder how they lost this one(Lorain Southview comes to mind). But, the way Norwalk played last night, perhaps I have no room to talk.

After watching Sandusky last night, they could go 1-5 at best. I understand last night was everyone's first night of action, but the physicality they will have to play every night is going to give them fits. If you are playing the triple option, you have to be really disciplined playing assignment football, and they were not. Also, they played with no energy and enthusiasm and absolute **** poor body language. Everytime Franklin threw an incompletion you would think it's the end of the world. It's always tough to coach your own kid, but if these kids aren't going to have his back this could go south quick. They are just not that good. Graduation did a number on this team.

I pretty much called this game a week ago. Sandusky allowed Edison’s offense to grind them down with 5 yard carries. Defense could never get off the field... not that it mattered since most the team was going both ways. Then when they did have the ball there was no sense of urgency on offense. A lot of hand offs for a few yards, probably the most pedestrian I’ve seen Sanduskys offense in a while. They couldn’t afford to let Edison turn it into a slug fest and they fell right into that trap. Kudos to Edison.

Now that I look back I do believe I was also in the locker room during the national anthem. Glad to hear it was just a bad rumor. Looks like the streaks need to fine tune the machine

This looked like a scrimmage for Sandusky, no energy at all. Edison was able to get a scrimmage in which helps, but it wouldn’t have mattered, Edison is the better team, they controlled line of scrimmage all night. Edison and Huron will be a dandy, I actually think Sandusky might not win a game this season, yes, Perkins can beat them

Just like me with Truckers, let's try not to hit the panic button yet.
