Another of the state health department guidelines is the 24 hour / opponent rule..
Which basically says you can not play another opponent within 24 hours of your last opponent.. Other words if Team A on Friday plays Team B at 7pm , and has a jv game at 11am Saturday vs Team C,, Any kid that played in Friday Nights game can not play in that JV game on Saturday,,, rather its a quarter, one play, anything....
I hope coaches caught that one...many JV games probably move to Monday's …

Most schools play the same school on Saturday morning they played on Friday night. ..first couple may not be though... and if they don't have JV which has happened... With the new format of 6 games and everyone getting a playoff spot and the chance to play after being knocked out and since most are doing their conference, this will probably not be an issue. For many of the team schedules I have seen this year they list the same schools Friday and Saturday.

The state clarified the rule yesterday. By 24 hours, they meant the same day. Should have no impact on jv football or volleyball.

Schools can come up with their own rules. Ontario is considering this. The only people allowed at sports contests are those that live in the same house as the athlete.
I'm wondering this. Aren't cross country meets and golf matches held outside in an area of at least 25 acres? How can someone sitting in the middle of a field with a mask on be a danger to anyone or themselves, regardless of where one lives.

The people allowed are immediate or close family. This allows divorced parents to attend even though living in only one house.
The spectator limit also mentions ticket sales and or stadium seating. Neither CC or golf events I have been to sell tickets or are confined to a stadium.

Do you ever closely read what is written??
I reiterate important phrases and words. SCHOOLS CAN COME UP WITH THEIR OWN RULES.....ONTARIO.....CONSIDERING....
Schools can issue passes for sports like CC and golf. Only given to people who live in the same house with the athlete. There can be people at those events asking to see the passes.
Speak about what you know. You have NO IDEA how stringent some are in the Ontario school district concerning this virus.
