Galion won last year 38-6. All time series is tied at 3 games apiece. Home team has won all 6 meetings. Thoughts on this one.....

A few thoughts on this one. Galion returns the MOAC’s leading passer from a year ago in addition to the second leading receiver in yardage. Their line is probably the most inexperienced part of the team. Despite having so much skill experience, they also will have 4 Freshmen making the trip. The offense made some really good plays against Tiffin but the line play left a lot to be desired. I would expect Tiffin is going to be better than River Valley, but I also would say Tiffin beat Galion in regards to the scrimmage. I could see this one being close and could go either way. Will River Valley offer any kind of steam for this game?

Will River Valley offer any kind of steam for this game? If I remember correctly, RV had a Junior stud running back last year. Something like 6-2 220. And more than a dozen underclassmen at 200+. Neither is certain indication of a good team, but is sure a starting point if I was a head coach. |
